He wasn't that well positioned. 7th position with 250 to go is usually not particularly promising.

But he was just leagues above the others.

After the amended results, Bardet loses 2:23. But he was behind before the crash due to earlier mishaps and the organisers don't have to pull the same stunts as was done for Tejay in California last year.

Felline, Philipsen, Haas and Ulissi contested that sprint too yet he blew past them like they were standing still

I hope this doesn't affect the rest of Yates' season too much.

Who is the hot favorite for tomorrow? I've noticed that the gaps on Paracombe are greater than those on Mur De Huy. But unlike Mur, it's not a waiting game.

It's a hill where you can attack in the bottom of the climb if you are a real climber.

If this is the standard Pedersen is going to have this year I suggest we'll just have a year without a world champion jersey altogether.

He did ride on the front of the peloton until 20 kms to go but yeah, not the greatest of starts...

There is every likelihood that Pedersen won't win a race in 2020.
If it happens to be the case, we'll just call it the rainbow jersey curse.
His training must've been affected by the title as mentioned earlier.
