I was referring to the tiny size of the flag. I know he's South African Champion.
Why it's so small, who knows.

Well positioned but didn't need to be. He won that by a mile.Perfectly positioned for a final run at them. Impressive.
Felline, Philipsen, Haas and Ulissi contested that sprint too yet he blew past them like they were standing stillHe wasn't that well positioned. 7th position with 250 to go is usually not particularly promising.
But he was just leagues above the others.
Why it's so small, who knows.
Simon Yates gashed his knee, I'll be surprised if he starts tomorrow.A few of the GC riders were involved in the crash so it will be interesting to see how they perform tomorrow.
If this is the standard Pedersen is going to have this year I suggest we'll just have a year without a world champion jersey altogether.
If it happens to be the case, we'll just call it the rainbow jersey curse. There is every likelihood that Pedersen won't win a race in 2020.
Pedersen needs a brutal race. He is almost more likely to win Roubaix or Flanders than he is to win a stage in a week long race or a GT.There is every likelihood that Pedersen won't win a race in 2020.
