Good to see Dainese and Groves finish 3rd and 4th coming up from the under 23's - They'll battle again next week in the Sun Tour.

They showed pretty decent durability to be in position to contest the sprint. A lot of much bigger names got dropped or were clinging to the back of the front group. Who are they up against in the Herald Sun Tour? No Bennett or Ewan, obviously, which makes the sprints a lot more open.

Interesting situation in CEGORR. Mitchelton forced quite a selection the penultimate time up the hill, and Ewan is isolated but there, while Viviani surprisingly also made the cut (and has Haas) while Bennett didn't. Our World Champion is also there in the 17-man group.

But if Yates smashes it up next time, it will be chaos.
