Forget Trek, Mollema won a monument in his career and now they think he's Brad Pitt.

Vino should start a movie production company next year and hand the main role to Nibali. Something like "The Godfather: The Return".

But The Godfather is still Vino himself, right?

LBL: "I made him an offer he couldn't refuse."

It seems that the race isn't being shown on Australian television, so I'll probably 'watch' it tonight in this thread.

Keep me updated guys (well, y'all better than standard commentators anyway). Let me know when it's in the bag.

Agreed on Powless. This seems like one of the best fields I remember for Lombardia. Hope weather cooperates so we can actually see the broadcast!
With all the excitement about the quality of the field you just know it’ll be Tao out sprinting Meintjies at the finish from a break full of 2nd-tier contenders that nobody was able to organize a chase behind.

You mean we’re going to have a Zaugg-level winner? ;)

Weather should be fine. Temperatures around 8-10 on top of the hills though.

Zaugg was flying at that time of the year, and was just the best that day - a dull breakaway win wouldn't live up to it. We'd need Lorenzo Rota dropping Roglic on the final bump, and solo to victory.
