no surprise though. his first grand tour. a lot to learn
Learn what really? The first week of a GT is like a 1 week race. The learning comes later in the 2nd and 3rd weeks. He's dropped like a stone in the first week itself that too on a hill after winning a hilly/ mountainous race like Romandie!!!!!

NO.

Althoug more to learn in the last week.

Beñat has beated Contador some times and now where is in this Giro?
Anton just won Asturias, and the same...

Either way, the former pro is adamant that Zakarin is “under no pressure in this race from the team. If he puts pressure on himself, that’s his choice. But he needs to learn, get through these things, if the legs are there, he’s going to show up. If he’s got the capability to finish in the top ten, then for sure we are going to support him.”

Third stage was a strange stage, and some riders were surprised or not enough warm. Threre is a thing we say in Spain after a victory, the hangover...The weather conditions, a lot of thing can take part. he lokk to performe better with rain, as Spilak.

Let's hope he'll do a Sella in the mountains :)
I was thinking exactly the same, but he should also gain a big amount of time in the TT, if he really goes for it :)

Do you think he's that good? Can't wait for the ITT now reckon he'll go good there. He was very strong today and the other breakaway riders just couldn't follow. Is he riding Vuelta now?

This guy is really strong. I think that already in his next GT he will be top 3. Unless he is forced to take a vacation for a couple of years.

Really good rider in the rain, as his fellow Spilak.

Russia deserves a great rider as the rest of the important countries.

Without that hot weather the first day and that attack from Astana, he would be fighting for a good place in the overall.

Hesjedal goes better with rain as well, as Beñat.

Should dominate the time trial if he's recovered from his fatigue now.

No Clinic intended, but how is it that you recover from fatigue in a GT, where the first week have been the fastest one in a long time?

It's not like he have saved himself totally, he was in the break the other day.

And here he looks like the love-child of Andy Schleck and Daniel Oss.

Daniel Chris Schleck must be his real name.

He's a hybrid. An improved model. From the Schleck portion they improved his TT and descending, Froome portion he looks up more than down and less movement on the bike and from the Oss portion he makes the break stick. Oss tries hard but usually gets caught. A formidable prototytpe for the future.
