That barely falls under the non-denial denial category.

Oh dear.

The non-denial denial. BING and as they say O.

You'd think at least these boys would have the poker face to say, "no, I don' f***ing dope" - but maybe it's best they can't...

IF TD is the source, that's quite interesting as I don't recall an active rider ever calling out another active rider. More cracks in the omerta, the peloton slowly decomposing?

Anyway, if Dekker's the source, +1 to him (and Garmin, I guess).

Yes. He's moving further and further away from the arrogant a-hole he used to be in his doping days.

And it's good this stuff comes out into the open. It's a plus that you're not allowed to race for a week after using a cortisones-TUE. It would be much better, though, to completely do away with TUEs altogether...

Imagine your partner asks "Honey, did you cheat on me?"

You can say you didn't. Your partner might still be suspicious if they have good reason to doubt you.

You can say it's up to them to decide, using their reasoning skills. Congratulations: you're single.
That's a brilliant way to put it

is philippe gilbert doping?

is this actually a question or rhetorical?

every other rider who has swept the ardennes and stolen Jackson's TM threepeat, would lurve to be asked the same "question".

I raise the "non-denial denail(sic)", with the "non-question question"

is philippe gilbert doping really in question?

But a non-denial denial has to be the stupidest thing to do since everybody really can read between the lines. It's the closest thing to admitting in stead of admitting itself
but how about Ulrich's answer to people wanting their gallon of blood out of his arm.

"if people cannot see the truth for themselves..." words to effect of.

you want gilbert prone and martyring and 67 virgins in heaven? what do you want?

Every time Gilbert wins a race harmonn says it's great because gilbert is one of the most outspoken anti dopers in the sport.

I dunno. If I were on the juice, I sure wouldn't pull off stunts like Gilbert did in '11, and then fail completely until the World's in '12. That's the best way to raise more than a few eyebrows.

So now that the Dutch (media) have 'destroyed' all of their own (past) champions they are going after those of other countries.

You almost sound like that is a bad thing.

That's a good observation, but it was inevitable. They've probably run out of good stories in the Netherlands, and are now looking for foreign connections.

The Dutch medias' agendas(and especially NRC's) are very unclear to say the least.

Ah well, equal treatment is a good thing.

I'd like to see them give other sports (like track and field and speed skating) the same treatment.

Cyclist ain't normal people.

Still think BMC was asked to take the juicing level down a notch or two in '12 which affected most of Gilbert's season.

Gilbert back to full "strength" this season? Lets evaluate after AGR.

who would that be?

Good question.

The BMC site says the soigneurs are **** Leenaert, Stefano Rubin and Freddy Viaene.

No sign of Vansevenant or Schoutteten, who I immediately thought of when I read that.
