Okay I don't know so much about the personality part for him, I just think they should also take other riders to races.

I don't think Lotto minds overall, if you look at their roster it's very classics based and Hansen just loves doing stage races. If you take away the GT's, his year really only consists of Aus Nats, Turkey and the Ster Tour. He lets the squad pay attention to their main focus, which is the Northern Classics.

Naming Cancellara in this thread is ****ing ridiculous imo. He's the exact opposite of an "act", he never plays to the camera when he's on the bike and he's incredibly successful.

See it for what it is and don't take it too seriously. It is undoubtedly a marketing led event for Trek for whom I am sure he will continue to do work. He also gets to put down a time before the real contenders like Wiggins, Martin and Cancellara crush him.

also because uci changed the rules, he should be the new record holder. and then hopefully we'll see the big guns

Jens will be the first guy to break the record in what, 9 years ? Thanks to the UCI rule changes. It'll be a tad bizzare to see him in the books but at least it get's the ball rolling like you say.

I've heard Anglo commentators claim he's such a great interview. I must have missed all those entertaining interviews.

All respect to how hard he works and he's got a solid portfolio, but even a character like Jacky Durand turned those seemingly Quixotic efforts into more impressive results.

Yeah as a circus show... Why not Horner? The 56 or whatever year old grandpa would be even more ridiculous. What a joke cycling became. I would laugh about it, if it wasn´t so sad.

uci finally changed the rules, they got tri bars and aero wheels. it will be a joke if jens fails to break the record lol
the actual record now is not that of sosenka for me but those of indurain and rominger. and trust me, jens won't reach 55 km in one hour
