The CO stories have been doing the rounds.

I spoken to several people who've heard about them in relation to Sky.

Wiggins smoking is said to be one of the side effects of the cravings that relate to its use.

Most guys wont go near the stuff. Dangerous with a capital D.

Kerrison appears to be comfortable enough with it.

Do you have an link to support these claims....or are you inventing things again?

Wiggins is addicted to CO? Really? You do realize the addictive part of smoking is the nicotine not the CO right?

Much mayonnaise on that statement?!

Just as well Sky hired Yates & Motoman to implement Ferrari's notorious and advanced work.

Every student needs a good teacher

Sky hired Motoman?

Do you have a link or did you invent this to?

Ferrari hired by USPS or just working with them?

I'm sure there were links on all of the above back in 2002

You are touchy with Sky.

No one is trying to offend. Just discuss.

Sorry.

Like you claim you've spoken to several people.

Like several things you claim but don't link.

It's out there.

Let's not get into the science of CO doping. Uncharted grounds there.

And you know little of addiction truth be told. A quick google search does not cut it in its instance.

Let's talk about it and not compete.

Better for the forum.

Dimspace has made mention of such as well. If that's the link you need?

Teamskyfans.

Sorry.

A bald assertion with no back up is not a debate, or a discussion, hog. It's just a bald assertion. Rules of the site; don't make unsubstantiated assertions.

So back up the statement, thanks...

All I could find was that Sutton thought Vicky Pendleton's relationship with Scott Gardner was unethical (though obviously not illegal)

Unethical, it was.

Illegal, certainly not.

RR.

Don't call him a troll in the forum. If you think he's trolling, or breaking other rules, report it. Less *****fights that way.

Not at all.

I'm not getting into p1ssing match with you that's all.

It doesn't help the forum.

Like the Horner thread. You happy to tell people about Horner's weight and his knee with no links and sound the authority on the matter.

When clearly both points were made up.

It goes both ways. Stop making stuff up re: Horner and passing off Froome with a tailwind.

Just let the forum flow. Please.

Everyone is entitled to an opinion. Let it run.

True to a point, hog - but an assertion, and an opinion, are two different things. You know the new rules, Hog. If you make an assertion, which you have, you really should back it up.

Thanks for proving my point, it is a huge difference. A stark contrast.

Do you have link to the Carbon Monoxide and the Sutton story?

Indeed - another example of you...anyone else hears something in cycling and it's rumour - you hear it and it's fact.

Given the long history of The Hog making things up it is a reasonable question to ask.

This is what concerns me.

The CO doping is a valid issue to discuss.

I'd like it to continue. It's done the rounds on a few forums.

As far as I know it's undetectable and not banned.

It's good and valid discussion and I don't like seeing it shutdown with - link, link, link.

I don't know 100% but I heard it came from triathlon and that maybe were Kerrison learnt to experiment with it.

But it may go to explains why Froome appears so confident of never being caught now or with retro testing.

I really don't know enough about it to know how it works to be able to test for it.

I think we'll be hearing a lot more about it along with the cortisone use.

Good that you are worried about the forum - so why did you post these new revelations in the Walsh thread?

While you are correct that everyone is entitled to an opinion - you passed off the hiring of Yates (& Motoman!) to "implement Ferrari's notorious and advanced work" as fact, you will need to back that up or withdraw it.

D man!

I'm sorry. Yates and Motoman don't know who Ferrari is.

Motoman never delivered the drugs program at the Tour de France that Ferrari had designed.

Sean Yates doesn't know who Lance Armstrong is and doesn't know Dr. Ferrari or that Lance used Dr. Ferrari.

Yates was never pictured with Motoman.

Porte and Froome never worked with Motoman or Sean Yates.

None of that happened.

6 degrees of separation.

OK he has been now ditched.

Sutton telling wives what we are doing isn't illegal but it is unethical

Link? This needs to be substantiated more than to just throw it around a forum.

Wiggins bullying of journos and defending known dopers.

Outside of Lance, what known dopers has he defended?

Brailsford bullying of journos

Similar to what I said about Sutton. What stories has he bullied journos about on their reporting?

Froome's ridiculous sudden increased performance

All you can get from that is a suspicion. Nothing definitive like the direct evidence implicating USPS.

Commercial advantages to British cycling doing well

That's just your own assumption.

Carbon Monoxide

I have seen it discussed but I have never heard someone with more direct knowledge of saying this being linked to Sky. It's just people suspecting this maybe a possibility.

You're clutching at straws in your comparison with USPS and you know it.

Is there a positive like a cortisone from '99...true, to my knowledge there isn't...

So yeah it's a huge difference alright

I would dismiss this too. Frankly not that important.

who cares? he defended the biggest of all.

it's been even worse.
as digger pointed out DB has been calling editors.
the hell with transparency.

but armstrong got called out for several reasons, one being his amazing transformation.

That's just your own assumption.
and yours is that we should move on? nthing to see?

You're clutching at straws in your comparison with USPS and you know it.
clutching at straws? if you haven't been living in some dark cave in the last 20 years it isn't clutching at straws. it's adding 1+1.

Within 5 minutes of writing that I posted links to more accurate calculations.... Of course you know this but would rather post nonsense in order to create conflicts.

No, we're not in court. We're in a forum . With rules.

From those rules

Proof of point, opinions, and common knowledge: you can't just say "we know Bobby the Bod is doping". You have to provide some proof using linked sources or verifiable material. Or, you can just state "in my opinion". If, on the other hand, it is in the realm of "common knowledge", then it is acceptable to make an unverified statement. Be careful - common knowledge would apply, for instance, at the time of this posting, to Lance Armstrong. But allegations of current doping, and current riders, would not be "common knowledge" at this point. To be common knowledge, the "fact" has to have been published, widely read, and widely agreed with. This point is particularly applicable in The Clinic.

Let's never worry about prettiness. Let's simply back up any assertions. As called for by the rules.

I'm reminding posters of the rules, as i'm entitled to do. Now cut out the personal attacks which are also against the rules.
