It's good and proper to give someone a fine for something they can't help? Riiiiight, then...

Definitely looks broken:

Looks like you can still get away with it in the NBA. Seems rather strange that Europe is now more prude then USA in this regards. It i guess started in football, on where heaven forbid an athlete took the shirt off.

To be fair, in football - and I suppose basketball as well - when a rider scores a goal, he'll usually have to continue playing afterwards.

And just to be clear; Del Toro never actually took his jersey off.

P.S. But OK, at least such things help with improving the safety.
The old-world sense of decorum, formality if you like, not prudishness. On the latter, just go to any newspaper kiosk or turn on the TV in Europe and prude doesn't exist.

UAE doing more and more for other riders, Pogacar is the obvious focus, but there are many quality racers in their system, don't think that Isaac has a big ego, doesn't feel like a caged animal.. I don't know what will happen with standing room only, Almeida, Ayuso, Torres, Morgado, Yates, Vine, McNulty, Soler, Sivakov, Navarez, couple others on form to win something and structure right now looks like Pogacar gets first right of refusal and the others wait for scraps. This has got to be like drugs for these new racers, taste winning and want more..maybe too many race horses...?

Or all reaping the benefits from being on a great team, racing with great teammates and only getting better by the friendly competition. Racing together as a unit.

Amazing rider, will be very interesting to see how he will handle himself over the next two weeks and if his team will actually ride for him.

I think it will be very hard to break this guy with the stages to come, but of course he is still very inexperienced. In any case the way he rides looks so much like the way Pogacar rides.

I think UAE has always seen him as one of the leaders for this race and that they always wanted the race to decide whether Yates or Toro would be the second leader.

Incredible ride today for the pink jersey. Not only technically brilliant in the sterrato but also very strong.

I am going to go ahead and say Del Toro will win the Giro.

Incredible form, he was the strongest of all guys today. He has great situation in the GC and the situation in UAE complicates even more. Can he win the Giro? It can't be ruled out but we really don't know how this young rider will fare in a 3-week race. He may also collapse at some point in high mountains or simply be overtaken in the GC by 2-3 climbers stronger than him.
