It's a bit wild how many wrong/maybe wrong turn shenanigans Grégoire has been involved in this year. He was originally second to Ganna on the fabled Algarve stahe, then he won Classic Ardèche because lots of riders took the wrong turn in the kast roundabout and today he was there again.

There must be a betting market for which one of these descents Almeida is going to lose a GC-costing 12 seconds on, it's like some UAE work experience guy got his and Ayuso's racing schedule mixed up or didn't even bother checking the race profiles.

No for sure it looks fun for kids!! They come out and see something fun. Lots of younger kids in France don't have school on Wednesdays.. I don't know about Spain and certainly don't know region by region.
I have also been impressed with massive ground laid pictures of different things, people ect..pretty cool. The race is in very beautiful scenery in my opinion.. And some of these steep short climbs are great features for the race in my opinion..

Agree on all the above, it’s a lovely race to watch and I would think at least some of the riders would appreciate the variety and challenges. Like Schachman said in his post-race interview yesterday: “ It was just pure racing.”

A full DSQ is too far but he relegation is obviously the right call, he won because he cheated (even if it was maybe accidental).

I think he already had it won when Almeida misjudged the previous corner.

Really good stage only to descend into classical high farce because pro cycling 2025 where seemingly no organisation can get it together to make a course clear to all involved.

So riders are obliged to ignore any instructions from commissionaires, stewards, safety officers etc ??? Even by UCI standards, that is an impossible to apply rule.
