I don't mind a bit of smack talk, but throwing your teammates under the bus and always blaming doesn't exaclty scream classy rider/great guy. All this talk about Vlasov, but the guy was vomiting alongside the road when he stopped and had a bad night before the stage. Then blaming Oscar Rodriguez for not being good enough uphill, then blaming the team/staff members for getting caught with your pants down durning the crosswinds, who wants to ride for such a team leader?

There's a new bird song, and he's all smiles :p

JK, but he is mostly blaming himself this time. But also the route. And his husbands a bit.
He wanted to TT like Nibali, but failed to pace himself accordingly, starting out too fast.
What a Foolsang thinking he could ever do that anyway facepalm emoji

He promises to attack tomorrow, if he has the legs, but won't go all out just yet.
Maybe another visit to Vino's Liquor Cabinet will do the trick.

So what does the fox blog say?

He says that he's getting too old for this *** (possibly)
His numbers should be good enough and he knows that Nibali's and Bilbao's aint bad either, but they are still being beaten by the young guns.

He think he did a reasonable job today getting back to Nibali, and he hasn't given up mentally nor physically.
He has had bad days before, but he knows that the hardest days are still to come, so things can still turn around for him.
