yes, timing of his peak then, it's always more complicated than just recovery. It's not just his recovery. He always push more watts in the last week, at least in 2022 and 2023.

Stage 11 can be good for him. Stage 9 is a stage of having some luck, but Visma will be strong there.Only stage 9 and stage 11 are a threat. He will be hard to beat if he is under 2 minutes.
Very solid ITT after what happened to him April.
He is alive and will start the last 8/10 days of racing with a not very high disadvantage for the first place.
It is better for Pogacar. In fact, I think he will get dropped.Stage 11 can be good for him. Stage 9 is a stage of having some luck, but Visma will be strong there.
The plan of Visma certainly is building him to be in thermonuclear shape in the last week. Let's see if it works, but 1 min and 15 s is really good before the second and final part of the Tour.Yeah, he did somewhat stronger than I expected, which could also be said about stages 2 and 4. He's still in the game obviously but will probably need thermonuclear level in the last part of the Tour to win the race.
Week 3 should be quite a challenge for Pogi, with the Giro in his legs coming into the Tour.He can still win this and thats quite insane, tbh.

I thought stage 11 wasn't that good for Vingegaard, but the more i look for the stage, the more i think he can start doing something there, considering the lenght of the stage and the stepness of the climbs, it suits him well if he is in good shape.
How many time he lost in the downhill?Going down is his achilles ....UAE might try to exploit this
9 seconds to Pogacar. How many time he lost in the downhill?
For stage 9 Visma should be the best GC team. So even if dropped they could bring him back in a TTT.Stage 11 can be good for him. Stage 9 is a stage of having some luck, but Visma will be strong there.
He is really not confident in the descents, otherwise he could minimize even more the losses, but that something that will get better in the future.5 seconds
A top Vingegaard would be near Pogacar. Maybe ST or 5-10 seconds worse/better.He is really not confident in the descents, otherwise he could minimize even more the losses, but that something that will get better in the future.
Wow, bold statement... if Pogacar is the strongest in third week, he will win... we can say that about every single gc rider.I'm not sure if he'll be the strongest in the last week, but if he is, he will win the Tour.
No, we cannot. It's not trivial to overcome the first two weeks' timeloss in the third, even if you're the strongest.Wow, bold statement... if Pogacar is the strongest in third week, he will win... we can say that about every single gc rider.
Well if you take a look into last year edition second tt, you see where healthy Vingegaard could be, which is same level as Evenepoel, maybe second or two back (probably doing slight handbrake thing to let Remco win).A top Vingegaard would be near Pogacar. Maybe ST or 5-10 seconds worse/better.
