@Peyroteo94 . Look the post i answered here. That's what i said about the shape of Vingegaard in the Tour. That's my take on what will happen, but in reality only Visma knows how he is at the moment and in what kind of shape he will be in the Tour.

I havent watched it myself and gotten it before today and liked Vingegaard and didnt get why social media called him a wheelsucker on stage 2?
vingegaard wheelsucking even now this guy is just next level
In his terrain he is seldom boring. You seem to forget he just had 6 weeks of training before the tour, he was uncertain of his form, the stage is definately not Vinge's terrain, and he was not on his own bike. So for him it was easy, just try to follow and don't lose time. He knows he has to go on the attack eventually, but he is smart enough to know when to do it. And all riders are not like Pog and Remco on stages like this. Vinge did way better than Roglic on this stage, was positioned well all the time, and for a 58-59 kg rider on a stage like this, he rode exceptionally today.Vingegaard really just isn't the rider you want to be or dream about being in your dreams. He's just.. kinda there somewhere, acting like the boring villain trying to take the victory of your favorite riders in the end.
BORING AND NEGATIVE. Meanwhile all Danes are up in arms about how great he is Visma is!
Why? This is not the stage for that...He will win the Tour.
Hm, I would say (unless on those days where he saw he drops Pogacar - obviously he kept going), even there he is very Pogacar-focused. No matter what others do, he will respond to Pogacar only. And he will respond, not attack (with very few exceptions). In his terrain he is seldom boring.
Because after 9 days he is 1:15 behind. Thats a very positive outcome. So, just my feeling. Why? This is not the stage for that...
Could always implode with his poor base. So far he’s been fading after each hard effort on stage 2, 4, 7, and today.Because after 9 days he is 1:15 behind. Thats a very positive outcome. So, just my feeling.
Ah ok. I think he is very good right now but I still think he needs to improve a little bit to drop Pogacar.Because after 9 days he is 1:15 behind. Thats a very positive outcome. So, just my feeling.
On Marie-Blanque he attacked first and dropped Pog. But, I agree a bit, Pog however is a special opponent. Take away Pog and Vinge nearly almost attacks when the road goes up, look at his wins this year, superimpressive attacks.Hm, I would say (unless on those days where he saw he drops Pogacar - obviously he kept going), even there he is very Pogacar-focused. But he has a unique set of skills with his 3rd week super peaks. So its also rational to play his cards like this. Its a proven strategy of success for him.
I agree, he plays his card optimally. Pogacar maybe not (but in the end, Vingegaard is also just the stronger GT rider in my opinion). So I don't fully buy in the Pogacar energy wasting theory, although he has a tendency for that indeed. Vingegaard adapts to the style of Pogacar and is successful with it. Thats why I tend to see the chances on his side again. On Marie-Blanque he attacked first and dropped Pog. But, I agree a bit, Pog however is a special opponent. Sure he is not attacking like Pog, but Pog is unique. I think he does what needs to be done to be able to beat Pog, and why should he do otherwise?
he he, shame he didnt see the wind even once beforeLooked the strongest on the last gravel section. Awful cornering, but easily closed the gap to Pogacar every time.
The Vinge-hate is strong with this one.Did people see what evenpoel did regarding Vingegaard hhaha I guess now we know why noone respect him in the peloton which I was wondering about a few days ago. Hillarious. Wish I could cheer for him but this was impossible to watch from him. Sorry.![]()
