Frontman position is already reserved for Rigo. Jonas will take the drum seat instead.Rolling Stones will need a new frontman soon, so not all hope is lost for him.

I loved the old title, it showed so well his meteoric rise now that he's winning and there was some real fun in that comparison.
Ye olde Vingegaard professions.
professions as in teachings. His "profession" as Chris Harper?

I hope this question doesn't turn out to be too ingorant - but shouldn't Danes be more "marketable" in Netherlands/Belgium than Slovenians? I mean considering they are all from the north and all?...
I don't think Vinge is marketable outside of Denmark. J-V better hope Roglič is not done yet.
Personally i don't understand on how we got from fish to chicken.
And this shall make for potentially great years ahead.Unless they manage to put him on the backfoot again, which now all teams have witnessed is the way to beat him.
Other than that, i agree. Pogacar's been foolishly wasting energy all Tour long. A mistake he might not make again. Whether anyone can outclimb him in other conditions remains to be seen.
Are there Jumbo markets in Denmark?
The only other conditions will be the Tour with him riding smartly. Even so, this year I have the sense that Vingo was simply better.Unless they manage to put him on the backfoot again, which now all teams have witnessed is the way to beat him.

Rasmussen was a MUCH more interesting rider and personality than Vingegaard. (Same for Riis BTW)
Vingegaard's attack on the Granon was great but other than that.... there isn't much to like about him. Imagine being the best climber since the 90s but sucking wheels like Leipheimer.
He didn't attack a visibly tired Pogačar once in the Pyrenees. Van Aert had to ride him off his wheel.

Huge plus one on that. Brilliant.Just have to hand out another compliment for the thread title, truly a masterpiece.
I'm curious; do you still see Pog as a rare historical genius, like you did two weeks ago, or did this Tour change that? You seemed to think he was untouchable, but he seemed to bring the same level of the last two years, but was beaten by a (possibly? I'm not 100% sure) stronger guy.The only other conditions will be the Tour with him riding smartly. Even so, this year I have the sense that Vingo was simply better.
"Vingegaard!"
When asked who would take the final decision.
I get what your saying, and I understood Ritters question the same way. But I think it might be a situationen where understanding of the hosts primary language(mental translation) makes the question more clear, then for someone not being danish.
