@Peyroteo94

Of course as this are still human beings and not machines. As for your optimistic prognosis, on how Jonas will be at 100% at Catalunya. IMHO and based on what i seen that is not all that possible.
Why is that? He can train indoors until his hand feels better. Nothing is broken and his legs and lungs, heart and head are all fine.

honestly its not even dislike. I would actually root for him in the tour to beat pogacar.
I love the sport and the spectacle but dont invest emotionally in these guys. I cant say anything about drugs so its easier to just go back and forth and pick on guys for other reasons.
In this case besides the obvious, the arrogant *** running the team and how they think they are smarter than everyone

well, fair, I have to agree

If we assume that it is only the hand injury that keeps him from racing, and that he misses Volta Cat as a result, do people think we will see him before Dauphine?

I think most riders/teams would race in Romandie or something like that, but that's not the typical approach of Visma-LAB. Would suck not to see him race for 3 months

I would suspect that he is, if not showing concussion symptoms, maybe suffering from a lot of pain in his head. In addition to his hand, there's no point in risking your megastar at this point in the season.

I'm sort of surprised, although I shouldn't have been, to hear that he continued riding yesterday feeling a bit dizzy. When will these teams and riders learn that undergoing a concussion protocol mid race is not the end of the world? Worst case, he's cleared and can continue to ride, maybe loses GC but hey, PN is not his main objective.

Best case, he stops immediately and avoids more-serious consequences.

The other issue of him not looking good on Wednesday when Almeida motored past him is completely separate, I think.

The doctor's car stopped next to Vingegaard when he was off his bike, so I think he was checked out.

At this point I'd probably skip Catalunya and ride in Euskadi instead. If you need a bit more racing after not finishing Paris-Nice you can always add Romandie or something like Asturias (are they riding that one?) afterwards.

Grischa says that it was a stupid crash while they were going slowly uphill (on Côte de Trèves) and some riders in front of him crashed and he then went over them.

It was also shortly after the break had settled and riders had taken a piss break.

He should do the coppi e bartali stage race instead of catalunya, get another win under his belt against some teenagers. 5 days low stress race .

Was Vlasov also involved like the last time he crashed uphill?
