A excuse just like the excuse of pogacar in the Tour 2023 because of the wrist injury, right?

It wasn't because of that, he was spanked on La Loze, "i'm gone, i'm dead".
Mate, no excuses from me. I am convinced that Pogacar would have still LOST in 2023 even with perfect preparation. Jonas was just better than him in 2023. I'm being real.

While I don’t agree with the “fear of getting beaten” narrative raised by @Rou , I believe you’re being deliberately disingenuous in your response here, @Froome.

First, Pogacar did race in the Tour. To make a fair comparison, he would have had to skip the Tour entirely, citing rest as a priority.

Second, Visma reported only contusions for Vingegaard—no broken bones—which is quite different from Pogacar’s broken wrist, and you know that.

Third, Pogacar’s collapse on Loze in 2023 seems largely unrelated to this debate; whether his wrist injury influenced that collapse remains uncertain. It’s clearly irrelevant to whether Vingegaard can or cannot race now—so bringing it up feels like an old argument being recycled.

I thought it has been well known, prior to season start, that he was deliberately entering the season with a lower level of form. The aim being to be able to still have a high level in September. I have not seen anything to suggest that is not where he's currently at.
If he or his team withdraw him from races because of his wrist injury, so be it. The last thing he or cycling fans want is for him to crash as a result of a bike handling issue.
