Stages 12+13+14 combined are a monstrous combo. Hope Jonas can pressure Pog and not lose much time.Stage 12 will be crucial for Vinge. If he can stay with Pog on Hautacam it will be a huge confidence booster.
Thanks to Yates' winning move and Ben Healy's class effort to claim the Yellow that Tadej wanted to give up. Yes, UAE did exactly what they wanted on the jersey strategy. Not enough of a lead by Healy for Tadej to add time to Jonas, though.Beautiful masterclass in long range defense.
Agree. They need to focus on isolating Pogacar as soon as feasible. They showed today it's possible, especially with the luck of Almeida's unfortune and Sivakov apparently not at his normal level.Stage 12 will be crucial for Vinge. If he can stay with Pog on Hautacam it will be a huge confidence booster. And it could frustrate Pog who likes to dominate the competition.
It will be important for Visma to try to drop some crucial UAE doms on Soulor so that Pog can't get a strong leadout on Hautacam. Then it might be possible for Vinge to follow.

I'm excited about your reaction. Yay!Dno, Matteo attacks left and right, pulls, attacks, Campenaerts drop back and paces, Kuss attacks, pulls, attacks, pulls, and Jonas just sits in the wheel of Pog refusing to do anything. Hard to really excited about this rider. Was that really the strategy? Was that it?
Im just a bit confused, thats allI'm excited about your reaction. Yay!
Vingegaard doesn't care about putting on a show for perpetually angry cycling aficionados, he's just trying to maximize his chances of winning the race. And today there was no point in pulling with Pogacar. I don't see what's so difficult to understand about that.Dno, Matteo attacks left and right, pulls, attacks, Campenaerts drop back and paces, Kuss attacks, pulls, attacks, pulls, and Jonas just sits in the wheel of Pog refusing to do anything. OK, but what was Jumbo up to with Jorgenson and Kuss? Was it all about getting Jorgenson some time, with no intention to set Vingegaard up for anything? I was also confused watching it play out. Kuss kept pulling, not attacking, just pulling away from the group, then sitting up. We all know that by stage 17 the guys from the Giro will finally be supercompensating so it will just be Simon Yates pulling a dying Vingegaard in his wheel while Pogacar is screaming at Adam Yates who is simply refusing to ride after his brother. His explosivity is getting better day by day. Screw high mountains, his decisive attack will happen on the cobbled hill on Champs Elysees and next year he will slay MVP & Pogi in Flandres.
Today definitely was not about trying to get Jorgenson some time, otherwise he wouldn’t be on the front pulling at times. And I doubt Jorgenson getting some time is perceived as a threat to Pog or UAE anyways.OK, but what was Jumbo up to with Jorgenson and Kuss? I think they're doing everything they can to get Pogacar to cover attacks himself, with the idea that he will eventually become fatigued over the second and third weeks. So they send Kuss off the front to see if he takes the bait, then Jorgensen.OK, but what was Jumbo up to with Jorgenson and Kuss? I mean, I guess...but why would he chase Kuss? Just total lack of discipline? Kuss is not a threat, and that wasn't even really an attack. He just eased away, then eased back. I'd definitely argue Jorgenson attacked at least once, once pulled by Kuss. Vingegaard never signaled any intention to attack.I think they're doing everything they can to get Pogacar to cover attacks himself, with the idea that he will eventually become fatigued over the second and third weeks. Pogacar does respond to Jorgenson's attacks every time. Even more so than to Evenepoel. If he didn't, having Campenaerts up the road would have been a massive help in gaining some time. Now it didn't really make much of a difference, but say Pogacar had a really bad day, which you don't know until you know, then you better have these guys up the road to help you.Today definitely was not about trying to get Jorgenson some time, otherwise he wouldn’t be on the front pulling at times. Visma is in a curious situation.. Kuss, Yates, Benoot all 20 back so any one of them can go stage hunting, go up the road in breaks full of guys who are already spoiled, Riders like Powless, Lenny Martinez, Alaphilippe, can join and nobody is going to chase.. So Visma can allow any one of the 3 to try something..Alaphilippe , Hirchi, Martinez already an hour back so nobody will lift a finger ..I mean, I guess...but why would he chase Kuss? What was that? Just being nice to each other maybe?I think Vingegaard fans are naturally looking for some reason to see light at the end of the tunnel but the really bizarre inexplicable thing yesterday was Vinge reaching out to Pog for a handshake as they crossed the line. It's stage 10. They didn't even duel, Vinge never attacked and the high mountains haven't even started; yet and there he was re-enacting old cycling imagery of la paix des braves (like Lance & Ullrich or others before them) before the real hostilities even begin.
So what was that? Unless he used an unclean hand to get Pogi ill over the coming days I really don't get what that was all about.
Yeah that was cringeworthy, Vinge seem incredibly unsure of himself which is baffling considering he is 2 time Tdf winner. Mentally Pog has a very big advantage over Vinge says amateur psycholog SkalmanI think Vingegaard fans are naturally looking for some reason to see light at the end of the tunnel but the really bizarre inexplicable thing yesterday was Vinge reaching out to Pog for a handshake as they crossed the line.
