Pogacar couldn't even drop a non-climber on a 9 minute climb the other day while sprinting as hard as possible uphill into the motor draft.

Looked very easy today. Rode them off his wheel with just a pace lift and soft-pedalling the last 400 meters.

Gut feeling is that he's in higher level than two previous seasons, but not the level of early years 2022-23. Bit disappointed he didn't open gas fully like eyeballs out in last time up Montjuic steep wall. He seems more measured these days, the open rage of early years is missing somehow.

His best level ever is 2024 and by a decent margin. Numbers don't lie, both in Spring and July.
