I hope he goes easy on the rest, I dont want to see him humiliate everybody with too big a winning margin.

JTL will win by 11 minutes and then pull Tom Boonens girlfriend.

This is SOOOOOOOOOOOOOO gonna happen. Hey Tommeke, better put a lock on that girl of yours huh...she's gonna fall for the invincible "one-man-army", he who will conquer the Cauberg with that dance on the pedals, who will fly to the finish line like an eagle from the SKY, using every possible MARGINAL GAIN...

It's a bird...it's a plane...it's JTL!!!

On reflection in was an incredible performance by someone who had never even ridden in a world tour race before on a circuit which didn't exactly play to his strengths over a distance he had never come close to attempting before. Maybe I was a little harsh.

I have it on good authority that JTL's rear brake was rubbing massively the final time up the Cauberg. What could have been...

He may have finished 19th but he was in the first main group just behind the silver and bronze medal winners. (i don't think he bothered sprinting at the end)

A great result!

Even better given it's his first top-level race and first over 200km or 250km!

He'll have to wait a year before knicking Boonen's wife though

Will she be legal by then?

**** result but it has been a long season. Hopefully he takes a good 6 months off and aims for Vuelta and Worlds next year.

That may be a bit harsh. He didn't contest the sprint. Given same time as fourth place

Think JTL can be very pleased with his ride. He could have failed massively but was up there showing his face and proving he was strong. Obviously matching Gilbert sprinting up the Cauberg when he is in top form is impossible, but definitely looks good for next year riding at the top level. :)

No, JTL will be the team leader whilst Wiggins Froome etc will be his doms.

Can you imagine it next year. If you thought Sky were ridiculous in the mountains this year, oh boy, just wait till they unleash JTL!!! :D
