To be fair, most people think that there is something spectacularly fishy going on with Sky AND other teams, certainly including Tinkoff. You can't seriously say that isn't the case. Right?

Shut it all down. Don't talk about it. Not a word. No talking about doping. Not until there's conclusive evidence. And even then wait till the hearing 16 months later. But stop taking about doping on a doping forum.

....whilst at the same time claiming that cycling is run by a British rider and that no way would that mafia ever allow a British rider on a British team to be exposed.

Like I said. It would help if they get their stories consistent first.

His Sky colored powermeter at the worlds said it all. Full program.

Brailsford selected JTL to lead the worlds in April 2012 when he was at Endura. He trained with Sky all year and rocked up to the worlds after his broken collarbone with a Sky powermeter on his bike.

But of course we should believe Johan Brailsford that JTL is 100% pure Endura, LOL.

I asked the guy a question. He didn't notice so I used his little humorous rhetorical device. Not bickering. Entirely good natured.

That's the whole point of the biopass.

People don't test positive on it.

Looks like its working though.....and working against British self-interest.

That's a good thing surely?

Every war needs some cannon fodder; even if only to remind us that it's a war.

Not only is there ongoing speculation as to just where JTL will be riding next year, but rumours are also abound that he may feature in this years World Championships team at the request of Dave Brailsford, though Brian Smith says that any decision on the World's team will likely be looked at after the Olympics.

Rumour.

Let it build

Or alternatively just back up any claims with actual evidence rather than trying to sit cross-legged on a yogic puff of cloud like some sort of frikken mystic :D:D

It doesn't.

According to the guy who actually chooses the team It was clear who the leaders were

I believe Brad could finish in the top 10 on this course with his best form and the right frame of mind, and if Froomie says he is up for it we will go for the best result possible

And who was there for experience

Ellingworth feels that as well as giving future prospects such as Rowe, Stannard, Swift and Tiernan-Locke experience it could also suit Wiggins or Froome if either of the Tour stars feels it could be his day

Tiernan-Locke rocketed from relative obscurity in February of this year with a series of stunning early-season performances, including victory at the Tour Méditterranéen and the Tour du Haut Var. Even at that early stage, and even though he plies his trade at Continental level with Endura Racing, Tiernan-Locke was already being touted as a potential leader for the Valkenburg Worlds.

“I wouldn’t have thought I’d have been here, even this year,” Tiernan-Locke on the eve of the race. “I’ve had some good results and this is another step up again. The team’s taken a leap of faith in me because I’m a bit unproven but I wouldn’t have said I’d have been here a year ago, no way.”

After riding to overall victory at the Tour of Britain last week, the punchy climber rubber-stamped his selection for the national team and, it seems, guaranteed himself the role of leader. Bradley Wiggins – who may yet have Tiernan-Locke as a trade teammate at Sky next season – endorsed the 27-year-old’s status within the squad.

“Everyone’s saying he can win the race, we all think he can win the race so we’re doing as much as possible to help him win the race,” Wiggins said, before joking: “So there’s no pressure on him at all.”

Tiernan-Pecharromán did end up as the de facto leader as he was the only option left. The Hog might be misremembering/misrepresenting that.

No he was leader. He was told by Brailsford in April and selected as leader just prior to the race. Hence the Sky powermeter on his bike.

“I only found out I was going to have people helping me with about 48 hours to go before the race.

“There wasn’t loads of pressure because there was no-one else who was putting their hand up to say they were up for it as a lot of people were tired after a long season.

“It was a nice position to be in but I didn’t want to let anyone down. I didn’t know how I’d respond to the distance. It was 267km and I’d only raced up to 210km so it was a relief to get through it.
