He suffered an small acident in January (run over, but no details of the circumstances) that prevented him atteding the Vuelta presentation. The pain started a few days after. What everyone thought it was a tendinitis has ended being diagnosed as a sural nerve injury. He still has some pain, but during training rides sometimes it goes away after 2 or 3 hours and the harder the effort the less is the pain. He started normal training 5 weeks ago and his goal is to see if he can stand the efforts of actual competition.
