Damn, I'll be disappointed if he doesn't ride the Vuelta. Miss the days of the Movistar trident and was really looking forward to a UAE hydra
Thats how it goes when you're too oblivious to the fact that you're riding with an all time rider at the peak of his powers and still attempt to hide whenever you can for selfish reasons. Very much deserved if he doesn't make the team IMOI can't wait to watch him on bottle duty for Pogi in Canada.
Why are you so keen about sending Ayuso to the Vuelta? As said, read such UAE talks as BS. It's UAE who needs to make a step back now, or the relationship will become tainted and more importantly, history.
Whats the problem? Ayuso is employed if he defy the orders of the employer you dont expect it to be consequences? So basically social media should again decide the outcome of Vuelta? And Almeida and Yates should participate, due to being good boys. Ayuso not, due to being a bad boy?

Besides when was Aysuo bound to go to the Vuelta from UAE stand of point? are they not allowed to chose better fit captains for the Vuelta if they want? Yates and Almeida proven to be better shape than him so they choose them, make sense? What your typing make zero sense.
Dont worrie though Roglic isnt beating any of em he will crash out like he always does so dont worrie about it.
Ayuso is a kid and has the right to defend himself.
You said Ayuso is being punished. So the rest of the argument is BS.
Its not *** they have proven to be in better shape? So make fully sense they chose the best from a sporting perspective, if that upset you thats weird. You said Ayuso is being punished:

I would chose my best riders and the ones performing the best too so would any else employer.Do you have any data on that, them being in better shape then Ayuso? And does it really matter, considering if Ayuso would be in much better shape, he would still be punished? By not being allowed to participate at Vuelta 2024. Due to not being a good boy?

I don't know about Yates, but Almeida was scheduled to do Tour and Vuelta this season. Ayuso was only supposed to do the Tour.
If he really was away from the bike for 3 weeks, it's likely not a good idea to take him to the Vuelta. He's still very young, I don't think this will affect him that much.
Its more so on performance wice and who delivered best performance than anything else for me what I meant by it by team orders/expectations, and he he fails to deliver what was expected from him not anything else - thats only natural as a employer in a competetive enviroment, if thats duo to he was sick or not i dont know im not into the guessing game but nevertheless those two deserve it more based on performance so naturally for me they get it.So if you are now backing out of this and saying it has nothing to do with the decision, then OK. In your opinion Ayuso then just isn't selected, due to being in bad form and not for his behaviour and being a bad boy. As i got such vibe in this thread, people focusing much more on the latter than the former. When reasoning about the selection.
Man someone is just better than him and deserve it more from a performance perspective its not rocket science and deeper than that even though it might be for you, perform better and he might have been leader at Vuelta this year yes, such is life.@velaso montador
Got it.
Ayuso is out of form and that is on why he isn't going to Vuelta 2024. Get in shape and you can lead next year then, or i guess Tour.
Next year or years or whenever he leaves he can ride whatever he wants how he wants, he should just cross his fingers he dont end up on the blacklist.Thats how it goes when you're too oblivious to the fact that you're riding with an all time rider at the peak of his powers and still attempt to hide whenever you can for selfish reasons. Dont be confused I get its hard. Sporting enviroment/teams base their criterias on performance I get that part is confusing. Yes lets see.I am confused now. I thought he was in bad form and all he has to do is to get in shape? Anyway, Vuelta is just around the corner and lets see what happens. According to his team the decision will be made in last hour anyway. So Ayuso can still train and get into needed shape.

Ayuso, despite his selfish ways and young "star" kid antics, needs NOT to make an Uijtdebroeks. UAE is THE team for him, Matxin knows it, he knows it, him signing with Movistr wil just lead to more pressure, hate from the Movistar haters, and we know how they work (Jorgenson taking things in his own hands to progress there)
