At first I thought he was the Arbiter. Then thought the Arbiter may be LA. Now that someone is putting the puzzle together. Hmmm...

oh, I don't care about the Giro. That was the first race he showed he could hang uphill.

I want to see how he goes when he is in the autobus. IE, the previous Tours and Giros.

Keep in mind he was only hanging in the Giro for a while. When they got to Monte Petrano, he completely, totally tanked. He finished at the back of the autobus, 4th from last place overall.

Not implying this means anything, just an interesting observation.

You voted for Ron Paul, didn't you BC? ;)

The more LA races the less BPC posts. I guess that's a good thing??

dont know if JV is still reading all this, but Millar did say that Evans needed a drug testing program, at the same time CSC and Astana were flaunting it, and he also stuck the knife into Saunier Duval.

Ofcourse Saunier were pretty dirty, but Millar fitted in well there.

When he has said before "...I am not even doing recovery therapy" (testo, cortisone, hgh, IGF-1) it really comes across as thou doth protest too much.

If you are not doing recovery therapy, you are still buying into the spin by invoking a euphemism. It ain't recovery therapy Millar, it's doping mate.

Armstrong may not have a GED and may speak in tweet and message text form, but, his grammar and spelling has to be superior to BPC

Almost every public statement by wonderboy has been reviewed by image handlers and lawyers.

If you want a funny read check out his letter to the WSJ. It is clear he wrote it himself as it is barely comprehensible. He may want to get his money back on that mail order GED.

I said he may not have a GED. assume he does not. He only went to UoT Austin to study co-eds right?

Seems to me BC is asking I think some valid questions. These don't have to be accusatory, maybe he makes them sound that way. But they are fair to be discussed I think.

1. Is it normal for a rider to go from not being able to climb much at all and riding in the autobus, to finishing 4th in the Tour?

2. Is it normal for a rider to have his hct rise during the Tour?

This isn't to imply he's doping. I don't know if he is. I hope he isn't, and would like to give him the benefit of the doubt. But I've been burned so many times in this sport, I am suspicious of almost anything at all abnormal.

I have also stressed, Wiggins NEVER rode on the limit in the mtns. It was not his role. He rode sub max.

I have also stressed, that you cannot take one chrono result, and isolate it, as a benchmark result.

So, I have tried to put it in context of Wiggins' career.

But, what I want to see, is results in Driedaagse de Panne, and Criterium International, when he was 78kgs. These results should have been in his hitting zone.

Ofcourse, the World Track Champs are in March, and will compromise the career for the spring, and even later, as they have done a different base.

But he left the track for 2006. We did not see him animating a race. He won a Dunkirk chrono. Not exactly screams selectivity.

I hope we see JV and others on this board, defending Cancellara when he loses about 8 kgs, and wins the Tour.

2011, Cancellara will jump to an Andy Rihs team, and ride for GC, at about 75 kgs. He will make the podium. He will pump Wiggins, because he is a much better rider.

JV addressed Wiggins' clean blood values on the first thread about this 'Vaughters really wants to sign Contador'. If you're going to slag the guy off with this nonsense then you really should do him the service of reading his posts first.

Like the way you're treating Betsy Andreu?

BPC is just a paid chimp - wait until the Lemond/Trek thing gets going - I'm sure we'll be inundated with all kinds of messages about Lemond that the Armstrong camp want to get out there in as many formats as possible.

You know, if you are going to start insulting chimps around here, I am going to have to take issue with it...

apologies to chimps - and TFF - everywhere. I shall use 'mouthpiece' from now on (though the subsititution of the word 'ring' for 'mouth' might be more appropriate)

You think LA has such contempt for the tour of Ireland he's on cyclingnews forums in the middle of the night arguing with a character like Blackcat who had JV howling with laughter at his 'in the know' claims? Not likely.

I suppose I chose it as a **** take out of the mentality of some of the people on this section of the forum. The fact that Blackcat thinks a campaign to ban pro cycling is even on the cards, and my choosing this name is just an attempt by an LA croney to stop it, rather proves the point.

Look guys, the mods don't like you using threads to talk crap about me. If you can't back up your nonsense claims about Bradley Wiggins, or something else of substance that is on this thread, then best zip it. Stick to the issue.

So you are saying you are not LA? Dang.
