Here is the full quote

Cyclingnews: What do you make of the news that both Verbruggen and McQuaid have reactivated their case against the journalist Paul Kimmage? Is that disappointing to hear?

Cookson: It is disappointing. It was something my administration were against but if the want to continue it it’s a matter for them and not the UCI.

While it sucks for Paul to be put through this again it does reinforce the fact that Hein and Pat are petty, vindictive, fools

At least they won't be able to use the UCI to finance the legal costs as I assume they were doing before.

UCI has already financed and enriched these two PR**KS beyond their salaries so in a way UCI money will be paying for it.

I'd say The Weakerthans are more than enough to exonerate Canada as a whole.

I'd say that Arcade Fire swing back the suck in that direction and make Canada quite unforgivable.

I mean, sh!t, even the Weakerthans hate Winnipeg

Nope. He will not be able to visit Switzerland, but I think he can survive that.

I was under the impression that there was some draconian EU pact that would allow enforcement of a judgment against Kimmage if he refused to show, and Pat and Hein got a judgment by default.

Should Kimmage be worried?

Not really. Hein and Pat are asking for court costs, 700 Euros. No way Paul is going to pay. If anything he should countersue

Jamie Fuller has said he will back him but I doubt he will need much.

No irony at all...going to French Canadia and hooking up with a Quibecous tart ruined them. It was the Canadia that spoiled that milk.

Stevie Ray Vaughn is from Texas, and that makes up for everything involving bad Texas music anyway.

The news comes days after the Cycling Independent Reform Commission announced its terms of reference for an investigation which will look into the Lance Armstrong scandal, the culture of doping in the sport and also the past roles of UCI officials such as McQuaid and Verbruggen.

Hein's apparently STILL stupid it appears. My guess is, once the CIRC comes back w/even a hairs worth of info on Heiny, "suddenly" the case is dropped, or sometime before.

Simmer down. You'll be killed with politeness if you keep that up.
