Dropped early today, but did not loose too much time in the end, so seems to have paced himself rather well.

Still surprised he dropped this early though after doing a much better effort on Ovronnez earlier this week.

Also surprised he dropped so low on the climb but clearly kept fighting on very well to be able to limit his losses very well.

Nice to see. Doesn’t seem quite as punchy as I was expecting but showed good endurance and mentality here.

Have to remember he is still only 19 and that the Seixas trajectory is so far out of the norm that it should never be used to compare the progress of other riders.
He is clearly lacking that punch because he has to really dig deep on terrain outside his specialty.

I am deeply impressed and surprised to see him climbing so well. It would be extra interesting if he was 5 kg lighter

He was a good climber when he was a junior. Even beat Seixas , Finn, Omrzel and Pericas to win the Valromey Tour.

It's the range of possibilites that is exciting. From all the way from PR to possibly Lombardia on a good day.
