Tonton Tapis as worn by Stephen Roche in the 1991 season.
The name sounded like a character from Star Wars or something & it looked like there was a man smoking a huge cigar on the shirt. The truth wasnt much better, it was actualluy a man carrying carpet with a huge tache. They were a Belgian carpet manufacturer. Brillant or what. Hopefully somebody can find a picture of this one for me.

BTW, do you still have those fabulous sideburns!!!
RDV4ROUBAIX said:I had to shave them off, due to them being aerodynamically incorrect. We did some wind tunnel testing on them, and Steve Hed deemed them a hindrance.![]()

Roger still takes on local youngsters on out on training rides before a Kermesse. I think Moser still rides a bit. Eddy got back into a cycling routine several years ago. Remember how big he got? He's got a wicked hankering for Belgian beer, frites, Coca-Cola, and cake too.
Check out Roger. Dapper, and fit as ever at 62!
