I wonder how this post will look like after Sunday P-R.:)... because Stein Ørn just say that Kristoff would be in even better form for that race.(he called it supercompansation). as i by my self have feeled . 7 days after a very hard race i do å personal record in my training coarse.

Yes his Step father is a doctor and have been training him from early age.

how many other country have national training and test centre for their top attletes?

Of all i know and talk with i don't know a single one that think that doping is ok.
is this the same in all other country?

After doing some research I think you are right.

It's a well known fact that norwegians are the purest people on the planet with very high morals. Cheating is not something they would ever consider doing. Conutries like russia have a completely different culture where cheating is accepted and celebrated.

And yes, Norway is the only country in the world with a high tech testing facility and doctors to monitor performance. I believe this is where Kristoff worked on his cadence and lowered his position to gain 50 watts.

You also forgot to mention his work ethic. I belive this is what really separates him from the pack. Whereas spanish and russian riders will stop for a coffee and have a lazy lifestyle, Kristoff was always out for 8 hour riders after turning off his powermeter.

When doctors do training, it is with performance enhancements. End of. See Michele Ferrari, Geert Leinders, Coconi, Fuentes etc etc..............

i hope you don't see Kristoffs father Stein Ørn alongside with this dope doctors. i don't think that his father will destroy his son(even if it is a for many years stepson). with doping .we saw what happened with Steffen kjærgård. He is a no person in Norway. from beeing a highly rated cyclist to be nobody with only shame left can not be much of a tale to search for.

I can not say what is common in other country but in norway cheating is low rated:) but to say that we are better persons no... a lot of other problems in our beautiful country with highly recommended cycle roads.

brits don't dope.............well? apart from the dopers

is it similar for norge?

Mark L

if you sett a line between organist sport with body building amateurs who want to do it the easy way ...
But as a Norwegian i am a naive person that want to see the best in people.
For me a doper is a busted doper.
But i am sure that we have had some very god top athletes that have used doping in the past... but with the very high focus on this in the later years i will be very suprised if one of our top cyclist or xc skiers got busted for doping.

I am sorry for my bad English.

So Norwegians are inherently naive, is what you're saying? You're naive because you're a Norwegian? Haha! That's laughable.... You're naive because you're naive. It's that simple. There's plenty of other nationalities that are as clueless as you, and it's not because of the people they were born to. You keep saying the same ignorant words and blaming your ignorance on your nationality. In case you haven't noticed, you're not in Kansas anymore Dorothy.

I'm beginning to wonder if you're just trolling.... :(

this guy is ridiculous

he is doped so high that he can afford to waste energy on all kind of shitty races without fear

probably his hematocrit right now is near 60% and full of steroids and other stuff

i hope he doesn't die in his sleep

no need to be so over the top.
yes, he'll have a high hematocrit, but his stepfather, our friend Stein Orn, specializes in cardiovascular diseases, meaning he knows all about the correlations between hematocrit and, well, cardiovascular diseases.
Convenient knowledge for a cycling coach.

I don't pretend to know how blood values work or any of that but just from following along over the years I surmise that having a hematocrit as high as 60% would be caught out in numerous ways including the Bio passport. If he's doping, it would be in training and it would be microdosing. His blood is as clean as mine right now, that's where the similarities end though.

You haven't needed a particularly high hematocrit for the best part of a decade, guys.

edit: as for his win today, I suppose it's evidence of good recovery, whatever the means, but it's far less telling than RvV. After all, it's an easy race and a sprint with frankly the kind of opposition even BMC Kristoff would have rather good odds against.

Now he's beyond suspicous...

For beating a bunch of sub-par riders after a mass-crash in the finish?

That was not a well thought out thing for me to say, I agree. It was aimed at bjork and designed as a dig. You all are correct, Kristoff should have had his way with the competition that he faced, and he did.

Katusha currently employs three doping doctors:

Andrei Mikhailov (http://www.dopeology.org/people/Andrei_Mikhailov/)

Massimo Besnati (http://www.dopeology.org/people/Massimo_Besnati/)

Thomas Klimaschka (http://www.cyclismas.com/biscuits/is-th ... the-house/)

Katusha = dirty team.

Kristoff = leader on dirty team = obvious doper.

Ouch, I knew I didn't trust this team, but I didn't realize they had these three as their doctors. That's insane.
Not so insane, Kristoff is winning every race he signs up for. Some would say brilliant.
