What a win. That acceleration did the trick and gave him a good gap.

Positioning and fighting for positions is much more important, mainly because today was mostly an elimination race with many contenders being taken out by the weather. Also no big crashes this year.Just curious why it didn’t worked out in Brabantse and Amstel with this legs. Was nowhere near the front.
Yes! Two Uno-Xmen in the top 20!
He's also been extremely inconsistent even when not injury-plagued. So him suddenly being nowhere in a race shouldn't surprise anybody. It's also starting to not be surprising when he actually shows up and is awesome.Just curious why it didn’t worked out in Brabantse and Amstel with this legs. Was nowhere near the front.
Better chances for Liege maybe.
Every time I see the Van Dijke brothers this year, I think they should be the domestiques of the Dutch OS team.what an edition lol. Williams clearly the strongest... although he made it exciting by going too early maybe.
Van Dijke 20th... let that sink in
Not sure any of those remaining in what was left of the peloton at the end will feature significantly in Liege. They'll be f****d after that today.Just curious why it didn’t worked out in Brabantse and Amstel with this legs. Was nowhere near the front.
Better chances for Liege maybe.
I think if all races were held in this weather it might help cure some of the body dysmorphia afflicting pro cycling.
So, to nobody's surprise, these guys were faster riding around 40 Ks than I was riding around - actually, I think less-than - 10 Ks.
Because, big secret; I'm slooooooooooooow
Kinda wish Visma would have switched the roles of JSM and Van Dijke. JSM looked really good, and it would have been interesting to see what he could've done on the Muur if they had let TVD do the donkey work instead.Van Dijke 20th... let that sink in
56 people finished the 99 Fleche in shittier weather, 44 finishers so far.
You ride less than 10 kph?
How was the weather shittier then?
There was horizontal sleeting at times today...
