Is there a way to contact Oprah or her "team." It is a woman oriented show. Someone really needs to get information to her about Armstrong spreading lies about prostitution about a female employee when she talked to the wrong journalist. Let's see what Oprah's followers think about that.

link?

i haven't heard about this.

starting with his re-retirement, everything armstrong did attempting to control and manipulated a story - any story about him not just doping - went south. it eventually resulted in the myth getting completely exposed.

this interview with oprah will be no different.

the major media is no longer on his side and will tear him apart no matter how guarded/padded/rehearsed his performance.

this is what the media feeds on - blowing up half truths, innuendos, incomplete admissions and hints at apologies... the man is miscalculating yet again if he counts on seizing the momentum.

hey, i never cared for the man. if he wants to grind into dust whatever's left of the fraud, god help him.

i think he's talking about emma o'reilly.

armstrong is a piece of **** and everyone knows it. his bit on oprah can be nothing except a disaster unless he confesses and apologizes. i doubt he will.

+1

This I agree with.

Many here are worried if he 'admits' they'll be no enemy to fight anymore.

It's to the contrary. After the interview LA will look worse than ever and will be torn apart by the media.

There's not chance he'll admit to much and will just make people more angry with him.

I said the Opera confession will only be a lame warm-up act to soften the public. If there's a real confession and spill of information it will come later in a more formal setting with the authorities, as away from journaists as possible. Agreed that it'll have to be good to to get him a reduced sentence. This forum is al about about speculation, which can be fun. Time will tell though.

I think I deserve some kind of reward for just reading through all 26 pages in one sitting. Many good points, much humor. I don't expect anything earth shattering from this 'interview' but I'll certainly be watching.

I wonder if Oprah is running a risk in this. If she goes out there and do softies all 90 minutes, will people outside this forum give a sharpie. The "fear" of becomming a laughingstock may actually force her to ask something... not much though...

I doubt he can use the normal LieStrong talking points, but it would be hilarious if he went that route.

What I really think will happen is he "Isn't there to talk about the past." He gives some BS line about putting it all behind him. He doesn't say he did, or he didn't. All in all, I think it will be a waste of time.

Well, the "I'm not here to talk about the past" ploy didn't work for Mark McGwire. It went over like a lead balloon.

Wouldn't it be a hoot if Nancy Grace did the interview? Particularly if she was in one of her extra nasty moods. "Look mister so-and-so, don't pee on my leg and tell me it's raining!"

Former Tour cyclist Matt DeCanio thinks Lance Armstrong will use his interview with Oprah Winfrey to "manipulate people's opinions".
Armstrong, who was stripped of his seven Tour de France titles by the sport's governing body, following a report by the US Anti-Doping Agency (Usada), will appear on Winfrey's OWN network on Thursday, 17 January.
DeCanio says Armstrong "will cry" in the 90-minute interview in a "last-ditch" effort to gather public support.
