So what you guys and I want more? Lance Armstrong will confess. I am ok with it. My bitter feelings will go one day. I will FORGIVE, but NEVER FORGET. I will leave it at that. No matter if he is still rich or whatever... The truth won, that´s enough for me.

My answer is simple - I want the whole truth of LieStrong....

Walsh is posting on twitter that the producer of Oprahs show has been talking to him, Kathy LeMond and Betsy Andreau and asking them what questions they would have asked.

Wonder has Oprah realised that if she does a professional job on Armstrong she will make every news item in the western world but if she just does a fluffer's job she will get lambasted for 'blowing' it.

It will be a lame admission. He will try to deflect the guilt on to others and rationalize everything to make it look like he is the victim. He will never take full responsiblity. Never change. Will always be a self serving POS.

Completely agree. The guy is slime. I don't expect anything resembling contrition from him. If he felt that, he wouldn't have waited until the evidence was so overwhelming, continuing to deny it would make him a laughingstock.

I am of like mind. She has a lot on the line as well. Her network has really been a flop and a personal embarrassment to her midas touch and taking this has been down could be viewed by her as a way to make the network relevant.

It's has been V has been !! But she has more to gain, he's just trying to salvage a shred of dignity and rationalize it all for the kool aid drinkers. She could go in for the kill. It has not been her MO in the past, though so no surprise if she does not.

More information coming my way suggests that @Oprah backroom team is seriously trying to ensure right questions are asked.

I hope you are right.

There is a possibility that she has an agenda: to redeem him, regardless.

The fact that producers are reaching out 48 hours ahead of time might just be for appearances, and to satisfy due diligence.

If it is not just for optics, and she really intends to be even 'just fair' he will need to wear Depends for the interview.

C'mon, does anyone here really believe Wonderboy won't know what questions are being asked, or that he won't have some control over the interview? he's spent his life being a lying, manipulative, scumbag pos. He's ruined people, he's in total control, regardless of what Oprah and/or her people claim otherwise. He'll admit to it half heartedly, play the role of a martyr, and the stupid fanbois will re-plant their heads firmly in his *** and still cling to the "never tested positive/witch hunt/ poor Lance/Cancer boy" bs he's been shoveling for the better part of a decade. This is damage control somewhat, to try to get the fanbois to worship at the "altar of Lance" again. He's no longer as american as apple pie, and he realizes this & now we get "the confession". I would be surprised if one tough question, or one question leading to his guilt is asked.

Course not, it will be shamefull, PR bs, not even in Bjarne style.

Do not get your hopes up.

On the other hand, how low can man go? Oprah sitting next to you hoping to restore some dignity in your life while every cycling lover knows you are the laughing stock.

Oprah Winfrey is trying to get up to speed on LA. Her producer Jenna Kostelnik has spoken with Kathy LeMond, Betsy Andreu and yours truly.

At 6pm today I will post something on this twitter page that will amuse and be of interest to many. And yes it does relate to you-know-who.
"

About 5:30pm over there now.

Considering Oprah's veiwership is primarily female, it might be easier to sell the 'woe is me' script to a crowd less inclined by nature to tell him to shove it.

I hope he's defiant and states that doping was a fact of life and he was doing what almost everybody else was doing if they wanted a chance to win.

When Oprah brings up the brutality of his ruination of people, he could say that he feels somewhat bad about it, but this is the world we've created; take a look around, the business world is brutal.

If he's completely honest about what he truly believes and exposes the hypocrisy of society in general, I'll respect that a little.

Regarding the cancer, he could rhetorically ask, 'Do you know how much $hit you have to take, and how violated your body is by doctors, just to keep yourself alive?' What's a bunch of drugs in a bicycle race? These people who subscribe to Livestrong just want to live and if it requires pharmaceutical help, so be it.

If he came across as combative, at least there won't be hypocrisy.

I'll still go on calling him an a$$hole though...

Oprah asking “How do you feel now that you’ve lost your 7 TdF victories?” “What will you tell your children?”
A Marion Jones type confession session. Big on 'feelings' - short on details. It could happen that way.

Yes but this program is going to be different, its not going to be just 'Oprah's viewership' its going to be people who would never normally watch that show in countries that would never normally watch it.

I mean what are the chances Oprah becomes a hardball interviewer and Wonderboy becomes an honest guy with feelings.

About the same time hell freezes over, maybe even later.

Are there any examples in history where a vindictive sociopath transforms into a nice person?

"You &I both know who really won those 7 tours"=(softball answer)

He's already Im sure convinced his kids he's done no wrong, and he's lied to them(or withheld MUCH of the truth) of what really happened. He can't help it, he's just a delusional, pathological, smarmy, pos LIAR. The entire thing will be contrived imo. This is only being done to cool his massive ego, and for his bottom line. He's trying to win back sponsors, and benefit himself, nothing more.

I wouldn't be surprised if 98% of her audience that day is made up of "know nothing about whats going on" housewives and fanbois, who still lick his backside and cling to his every word. There'll almost certainly be some made up tears, he's the Bernie Madoff of doping.

I'd love to see him go all in on the vindictive sociopath angle. Reaching the pinnacle of capitalism is based on that concept.

I have trouble imagining a world where the confession isn't filled with false emotion and half truths. We shall see Monday.

I'd love to see "A Few Good Men" kind of climax....

Exactly!! Wonderboy knows exactly what he's doing here, he's been coached to the gills to play the "feel bad for me/martyr" role.

Who better to give an interview to(besides Phil or Sally Jenkins) than the worlds sweetheart, Oprah? I wouldn't put it past him or his stupid lawyers to try to get him on Dr. Phils show, or the late night talk show circuit. Hell, I bet another book deal has already been signed. There's no money is silence, he'll sing like a jaybird, but only on HIS terms and only say what HE wants to say. PR dream for him.
