I interpreted "I just try to keep him normal" as
euphemism for hand relief

Your company, Movement Solutions International works with a very exclusive client base. What is it that you do with this group of professional sports people?
My ultimate goal with anyone is to get them to improve their movement capabilities, so whatever sport it be, whatever movement that may be, I work to help them become more efficient, more effective. I try to get their bodies work the way that they’re designed to work and however that is done differs for each individual. It’s different for someone like Adam Scott who plays golf, it’s different to Lance Armstrong who now does three different sports, but the ultimate goal is still the same, and that is to keep them injury free so they can train and to improve their movement capabilities.
What I noticed was how bulky he was compared to other tri guys. If you want to go fast you got to go lean. It'll be interesting to see how that progresses. BTW there is a huge difference between 70.3 and Ironman and that bulk will tell.Glenn_Wilson said:Who ever that guy was that used the fins he still only completed the swim in 1hour and 30min which is about 2:20 per 100m. That means that dude sucked at cheating!
I thought theHog was being serious. He was just having some fun.
Anyhow I do note that LA’s swim times hold up (stays within the front pack) with the other top racers.
His marathon is a serious problem if he wants to be serious. I have said that forever on this message board and others. Many people on various sites said at one time he would be able to run 2:30 for the marathon. Not in a tri but at the marathon alone. I don’t think he can do that.
He needs to be able to do 2:45 in the tri to be up with the top. I don’t think it is possible either.
Like you said he can compete in the top but to win ….probably not going to happen.

He's a heelstriker fgs...

'movement capabilities' even better

Yes, 'movement' certainly seems to be the buzzword of this year.

maybe Lance will morph into a yoga instructor in his coming 'gentler years'.

He showed at Galveston he has not mellowed and still throws a pique if all does not go according to his script. Memories of him as a 15 year old.

mewmewmew13 said:hi Glenn__! you know about running and biomechs ..
lance = heel striker, upper body twisting (swaggering), stride long & stiff
some of these tri guys have very fluid running gait....
sure helps if you're wanting to win an ironman...on natural ability

I'm hanging around for the grenades
