get off a bike from a hard ride, and start to run! your biomechanics will be horrible for a while. it rare to see ANY pro inc craig alexander look fantastic off the bike until they've settled. some just settle faster.
so go back to something else, cause you have no clue here.

Fail. Horrible fail in fact.
The good runners run well straight off the bike.
I've watched hundreds of triathlons, most of them live, and even local pros get straight into their stride off the bike.
It's a piece of cake for guys like Alexander, Brownlee etc.

The good thing about predictions is if you keep making them you will eventually be right. All the past misguided fantasies will be forgotten and you can crow. I'm sure that is even more orgasmic when you have no humility.

All will be right in the world if LA gets stripped of his wins and the rightful winners JU, Basso, Beloki, etc. are crowned.

My god humility? Now you're stealing my words! Seriously. Humility?

Is there a level playing field on humility?

I guess predications are like denial. Keep denying and in the deniers mind it's true.

I look forward to the Spanish Tour victors party. Oscar Pereiro, Alberto, Beloki..... great night out!

The Lance love on firstoffthebike has been rampant recently - right up there with slowtwitch..

A few weeks back, I tweeted this to the owner of the website:

"Guys... Please. It's almost like you are sucking up to get an interview, thus driving more traffic to your site". No response from Phil.

They've recently started removing comments critical of Armstrong.

It is sad. I almost feel sorry for them. Reminds me of all the cycling media who chased him in 2002, desperate for an interview. Now they all pretend they don't know him, are embarrassed they behaved like groupies.

Slowtwitch forum has an over abundance of Lance lovers and apologists. It is the go to forum on all things tri.

No one has to date on that forum disputed the claim that your hero was selected for doping control at Galveston.

Armstrong's tweet to Rasmus Henning, who exposed the non testing of LA in Panama, was alleged to be pure Lance and facetious as this time he was tested.

You're missing my point which is that you guys will take anything off the interwebz and post it as fact. I always take stuff on forums and blogs and sadly more and more these days, so called mainstream media with a healthy dose of skepticism. Yes, there is good information out there, but it's mixed in with a lot of crap that's either manipulated or just made up to fit one agenda or another.

PS: I don't have a lot of heroes andnone of them are bicycle racers. :)

So why then through the interpretation your posts you are strongly aligned with the groupie pro Armstrong apologists anti hater brigade?

Review your posts and you will find your skepticism is to challenge only the negatives against Armstrong. Like any worshipper you are only seeing the good in Armstrong and blindly rejecting the evil.

No I think if you review my posts you'll find that I'm rather ambivalent regarding Mr. Armstrong. Never met the guy so I can't comment on him personally, his family life, friendships or lack thereof or anything else as to his private life. Since I'm not privy to any real information I can't say one way or another as to his history of PED use. I'm not big on witch hunts, innuendo, hearsay, or guilt by association. IE: I don't have an agenda.

All that said, nothing would surprise me with him or any other pro athlete, even holy icons of the CN clinic faithful like LeMond or guys who I admire and have actually met like Andy Hampsten. Since like most sports "fans" you guys seem to disdain losers as much as you hate filthy, cheating dopers I don't expect much will change in pro sports as long as there's ridiculously big money and other accolades in being a winner and a modest at best living and obscurity for those not so deserving of the spot light, the podium, the glory.

No, what I find much more fascinating is the pathological hatred for this guy that you don't know and the eager willingness to embrace any tiny scrap of information - or disinformation - that suits the agenda of the CN clinic faithful who inflate it to bigger and grander heights. It's like listening in on a bunch of middle age housewives at an old fashioned beauty parlor cackling and tittering away at the latest gossip or one of those Simpsons episodes that some tiny, false rumor spreads like wildfire grows to something completely out of proportion the the original false rumor and all of Springfield erupts in riots and mayhem. It's really very entertaining. :)

correct me, but when has brownlee DONE anything as long as 1/2IM or IM?
sitting in a pack for 50 minutes is easy. riding 4.5hr by yourself is quite different- go back to watching itu on tv. when you've done it yourself, ill listen.

Yeah man. I've done a few tri's...

Correct me, but did you specify the distance? It doesn't alter the facts though. Have a look at the best runners over 70.3 & Ironman. If anything, their form starts out great & may get a little sloppy towards the end. Pretty simple.

Why can't you say "one way or the other"? That's not having an "agenda", that's merely having an opinion.
If you don't have an opinion on the matter, then why are you posting?

Hm, for someone doesn't have an agenda you are back repeating your "disdain for losers" mantra, I asked for some evidence for this before, I am still waiting.

Also, since doping in your view is done for "big money", the fame, etc then why is it someone like Galimsjanow or Frei or fat masters dope?

I understand you pretend to be here merely for "entertainment", yet attempt to ridicule those who comment on Armstrong or do as you did above and suggest it is hate.

Strange thing is.
I have met Armstrong on numerous occasions for almost 20 years both professionally and away from racing (I actually found him very friendly) - thats because I have been involved in cycling at many levels throughout that time.

Whats disturbing is that you claim not to have an agenda and you obviously understand little about doping and also have never met Armstrong - that quite disturbing.

As for his family life, yes that should be private, however LA was the one to waive that right by making it part of his 'story'.
