Okay so you're not a former pro. I think it's good we have cleared that up, because whilst you never say that you are, you often say things that seem to deliberately hint that you are, without being specific, and in my opinion you use that to bolster your credibility on issues like the one cited in this thread.

From now on nobody will get that impression. In truth you don't have much better knowledge than the rest of us, which is fine.

But of course one is still free to speculate in general terms how amateurs might be a bit down on the guys that did make it to being pros.....

But I can confirm that I am not a former pro, a current pro, and do not know Armstrong or any of his associates, JB or his wife. If I was connected with them then yes, it probably would be appropriate for me to reveal who I am.

Wow, there are just so many things to object to in this post that I don't know quite where to start. However since you are such a pain in the a$$ I will try.
First of all I would say that RR has 100 times the knowledge that you have of pro racing. In the USA especially and probably all over the world too the difference between a top amateur and a pro is not that great in cycling. I am an over 55 master who started racing in 1971 and I have raced in the same fields with everyone from Lemond, Hampsten, Phinney, Roll, through Horner and Cruz and Armstrong etc. and I have never had a pro contract. I had a job and a hobby. The depth in cycling is such that good amateurs always rub sholders with top level pros at various times during the season at local races. So top amateur riders know the deal, they have friends and training partners who are pros and they sometimes travel to races with them and get dinner with them and so on.
Rather than being down on the guys who we know and race with in the local races I think we all root for them when they go off to the big game. Wouldn't you rather get beat at the Podunk Crit by a World Champion?
Your tone suggests to me that you have none of this contact or knowledge. I would say you would learn a whole lot more by shutting up and reading than by continually trying to show everyone how clever you are in your responses.
There are a wide range of posters here with a great variety of experiences and exposures to pro cycling and you are at the entry level of that range, yet you make by far the most noise.

Why have you never stated why you were banned from RBR? It wasn't for excessive anti Armstrong trolling, was it? I heard your attacks on LA were quite obsessive over there. Can that be true?

I would say that was absolute bull$hit if I thought you had enough of a clue to be capable of bull$hit on the subject. What do you think is the dividing line between guys who go on to be pros and guys who go on to take regular jobs and race for fun?
