Jesus...

Michael Barry, Allen Lim, Matt White, DZ and JV... there's Garmin fooked and Barry's Sky career at an end.

Edit.. And Wiggins has some explaining to do about his link to Lim last year.

i am almost positive, usada is preparing to directly and officially accuse armstrong of doping using exclusively the circumstantial evidence route allowed by wada (they successfully fully tested already twice i believe).

but..usada's budget=10% armstrong's yearly income:(

Garmin 2009 is a joke, and that includes Wiggins.

blackcat said that he believed they might have been relatively clean but the "A-Team" were definitely on a good (Allen Lim) program.

Millar, Vandevelde, Wiggins, Zabriske (Hesjedal also finished the TTT).

And Chechu Rubiera too... it's going to be a sad news for Spaniards since he's well beloved here (as 'Triki' Beltran, another ex-USPS rider, was) :(

Holy crap!. Lots of names.

I think bribing the UCI is a federal crime.

Not sure I'm reading it right. In 2002 does he say Armstrong tested positive then bribed the UCI or that Landis tested positive?

Landis only wants money and attention, he can't prove anything.

I can't understand why people are happy about this, maybe they are interesting in killing the popularity of cycling around the world?

Armstrong tested positive and then paid off the UCI to make it go away. It must have happened in 2001.

If there's anyone motivated by money and attention it's Lance

Those of us involved in cycling (I have raced at a high level) are delighted to see this news breaking because we have known it for years, and the longer the myth went on the more ridiculous the sport was being made to look.

Cycling needs catharsis, cleansing and reformation - and the old guard of liars and cheats, their corporate backers and their PR and media apparatchiks need to be removed. Likewise the gullible hero worshippers.

Does this fill in a missing piece of the puzzle?

Last year there was a thread where people were trying to link the Cortisone positive in 1999 to a "donation" made in the earlier 2000s - perhaps the "donation" was for a positive in 01/02 and not the TUE backdate.

Anyone got that powerpoint of Ashenden's on that issue?

Oh - so you think having riders enter a sport where they have little choice to dope is good?

You like riders abeing able to avoid testing and if they fail the bribing the officals?

The system that is Pro Cycling is rotten to its core - the only way to move cycling on is to cut out the poison.

Some weeks ago I went back over some old JV articles - I do think the guy is genuine and was in some way trying to fight the sport from within.

But as Blackcat pointed out earlier now is when we will see peoples principles or lackthereof.

If he does want to change the sport he has to come out and speak up...

I assumed everyone knew that JV did dope, then decided it was a crazy ****ed up system and stopped riding.

The bee sting incident was the turning point or at least very revealing into his mindset...

So what's going to be the reaction from Planet Armstrong? Will they just deny this as the ramblings of a bitter and broken man? Perhaps they will have some "evidence" of Landis having tried to extort money from Armstrong on a previous occasion - pay up or I'll tell everyone what we did? There's enough detail in the accusations, enough mud that some of it will certainly stick.
