I reckon we may well be seeing a lot of this on those Californian roads, over the next few days.....................
.........

......and, of course, a book will inevitably follow.....

I doubt Clayton went over there all-innocent considering the amount of riders who subsequently tested positive, who he rode with over here.

You think Armstrong's going to sue Landis?

Bring it. Discovery in that case will be brutal.
If he's lied 1000x before i dont think he would mind doing it again in court

He'll do the dismissive voice "no, he's not worth sueing" and/or "he's got severe problems and a law suit would be too difficult for him and achieve nothing" thing.

This has actually rated high enough to get a mention on mainstream Aus media. On a news broadcast called 'Sports Tonight'. Albeit was only a ten second grab at the end of the news. One of those 'In breaking news' kinda things.

But it does prove how big this is gonna be

Today, the public will be rethinking their heroes.

If the Feds have what would substantiate FL's email, then the party is over. Prison time could come into play.

Seriously savvy move to do this while all the players are in the states.

that is a very good point - tonight ive done it and I feel shattered........there are going to be many fans who would have to do the same - where do we go from here? Cycling will recover but its going to take a while I think

It was on CNN this morning. That's pretty high profile. Unfortunately, I had to hear the ditsy anchorwoman say "they put blood in refrigerators?"

Enough, who even cares? Landis is washed up. He's just another statistic now. Come on cyclingnews, get back to Giro coverage.

Lost in all this is the underlying character issue and credibility question Landis faces. More than the doping itslef, which we all knew, he needed to clean the closet with his personal demons and he did not. He did not address the fact that he lied. Therefore his credibility will be in question and will become a talking point for the accused.

He should have accepted more humility and talked long and hard about his personal battle with the truth. And told us all face to face that he lied and why.

THEN come out with allegations.

It is a start but. But proves nothing more than he and his posse are still dumbasses. There will be no public sympathy and support

I hope Floyd is ready to have his name dragged through the mud all over again, because Armstrong is going to start talking some serious jive about him today.

Flandis is going to be just fine. Anyone who saw him a few months ago realized that things were going to go very badly for him if he didn't make a change. He's going to come away from this OK. Guess it shows it's never too late to do the right thing.

While there will probably be lots of non-denial denials today, a few guys are gonna roll. Two words come to mind: Marion Jones.

How do you think some skinny bike racer's going to make out in prison? Probably not as well as she did. The thought of being someone's girlfriend for a couple of years is going to get a couple of guys to flip.

As far as Zabriski, there are guys going back to his Saturn days that will man up and say he's was juicing (one guy already did and it was buried, but it'll come back up).

The scope of Flandis' allegations is so wide that there's no way this genie is getting put back in the bottle. Honestly, I think BMC's chance of getting into the Tour was what really cracked him. I think the hypocrisy of it all was just too much.

It's going to be a fun ride today!
