Landis speaks on German television...

The pro-Lance crowd have only 2 weapons: attack Floyd and cry "waste of taxpayer money." Both of those weapons are the equivalent of throwing snowballs at a firestorm, but hey, I guess it beats the cognitive dissonance they'd experience if they finally admitted what a fraud Lance is.

I agree with you, fair would be tit for tat. By why is he not being charged?

No, you don't seem to understand my point. Tit for tat isn't fair if the tat is wrong in the first place. This is one of the major arguments why capital punishment is wrong. If you think pursuing Armstrong is wrong, then pursuing Landis would be wrong also; the only motivation would be revenge. As Sword pointed out, Landis has confessed already.

As for the 'Mennonite' comment, I said boring, not bad. By definition of todays society, the Mennonite lifestyle is boring...

...but possibly virtuous and therefore fulfilling.

Lance really stuck it to Floyd and the ARD interview. He refused to be interviewed but issued a terrifying statement labelling Landis a "lair". Brilliance. Sheer brilliance. Armstrong is really unleashing the big guns.*Watch out. Next up he will state*Floyd has ants in pants followed by saying "lair lair pants on fire". This could get ugly.

Personally, I couldn't care whether Lance et al are found to be cheating, my concern is that people are treated properly and decently.
Is it fair that lives and careers can be ruined because of this?

Which lives & careers are you referring to? and BTW when you name them-could you please include the ones that LA & Co. have ruined/obstructed as well?;) thanks.

Back on topic.

The Landis interview was done by Hajo Seppelt, who also broke the Contador story and the UCI's attempted cover up of it. He has been involved in this issue for over a decade. One of his first documentaries was about the GDR's systematic doping of junior athletes......something that a few here would prefer be ignored because bad news makes them sad. :(

If anyone is in France turn on Stade 2, Landis should be on next.

Are you referring to Simeoni? Bassons? Anderson? Or maybe Bill Mitchell, founder of cyclingnews? When he was forced to sell his website because of the non-stop harassment from the Armstrong Groupies this is what he wrote.

I also received a lot of antagonism for daring to have an opinion - mostly from US readers. I could not understand why people (only a small minority), who grew up in the so-called land of freedom were so intent on repressing free speech. After all it was your choice to click the link and there was no charge for doing so. But still I received many threatening and nasty E-mails on a regular basis. My employer (the University) was harassed. And lately these nasty types have been trying to encourage my sponsors to stop supporting the site. I guess these types wear white hoods around the place at times too. It made me understand how McCarthyism thrived in the USA. Lucky I live in a free society I thought.

Do you have a link to support your assertion that Floyd was paid for his interview or did you just make that up?

An insider told me that, dear Rrrradio. ;)
Should do it as source, just like it does for you.

Of course Floyt did this for free and I just made that up.
Sooo unreal what I said.
I see you believe in miracles, too.
Good luck.

I think then I will hire Floyt as a Santa Claus for Christmas and let him sing "Last Christmas". For free of course. Cheap Santa Landis.

As the myth crumbles it appears some of the groupies are dealing with the grief.

1. Denial and Isolation
2. Anger
3. Bargaining
4. Depression
5. Acceptance

It appears one has moved from Denial to Anger

I love the token, 'I don't care one way or the other', just before having a nervous breakdown.

Me high ? Possible, but nothing bad.
Jealous ?

The real problems are at people who think Floyt did this for free. :D
Good thing is that Floyt can now pay back some donations. Good effort.

Hope ARD didn't pay too much because this is my GEZ money too.
I don't want to support such a touring psychopath.

how about we racists:confused: get back on topic?

the way in which landis speaks so openly about these issues is refreshing. i think he's becoming the most honest figure in ALL of sports on the topic of performance enhancing drugs/methods. i can't wait until the federal investigation is over and he no longer has to hold back in any way.

most importantly, does anyone have a link to the video, or can you put it up as soon as it becomes available?

Lance? Is that you...?

It couldn't be; Lance was already at the bargaining stage during the TDF when he said,

I'm not going to participate in a witch hunt. I've done too much good for too many people.

His reticence may indicate he's a bit depressed. Do sociopaths get depressed?

Man, I gotta stop hating...I might try the Pennsylvania Dutch country; they're kinda boring but, oh well...

Good that you don't support Lance anymore. Kudos to you.

well i was going to respond to the 'mad one who a is pro', but pro what? i could guess, but that would be a lance in the dark and ladies who get paid for such work deserve our sympathy more than our hate.

it is great that euro tv stations are forking out money to got to california to interview Landis, it shows they think his story is worth it and that armstrong's goose is cooked.
