VandeSande abandons while riding in the lead group wtf?

It looked like he forgot to eat or something, he was completely empty obviously. Don't think he abandons willingly ;)

Senechal, Politt, Groenewegen, Terpstra and Thwaites in the lead now.

Let's see if the others can get back. Bystrom and Wynants won't chase of course.
I don't think it actually would be that stupid if Wynants contributed to the chase.

Lol, I don't get why he was so foolish to actually take a pull for Terpstra.

If Terpstra was a better sprinter he would've won a lot more races, such a beast! He just rode them off his wheel like it was nothing.

Ya, that wasn't the smartest move. Great ride from him, he doesn't look bad now though.

Hopefully it means that Terpstra will now have satisfied his own needs of a win and be ready to help his teammates in the more important races.

Well, Terpstra should really be much stronger than anyone else in this race. I mean his riding against the likes of Thwaites, Politt, Groenewegen etc. who, with all respect, are a few levels below Terpstra.

I just hope he will help his teammates if he's in a situation to do so and cannot win himself. Winning Le Samyn should make it more plausible as he already has a win. That's all.

He will try to avoid that by doing a "devolder" in Paris Roubaix...
