Movistar doing Movistar things. Guess they are worried about Kruijswijk taking their spot. Jeez.

Soon time for the MJ to get to work? :D

Ofc, it might all come to nothing in the end, but can't say Sky is in complete control atm. If this persists he'll crest with 7-8 mins!

Jinxed it.

Yeah this is playing in the hand of Sky. Movistar riding to keep their 7th place or soemthing.

So now we know Bardet and Quintana are not riding for Tour victory and are spineless

Then again i understand this more than what Bahrain did yesterday.

3 and half minutes is dangerous gap to anyone, including Sky. If this is all playing bluff, I need to give them credits for being very good poker players.

I don't think they are riding against Kruijswijk. They are are riding against the Sky train.

And its working... They've lost two of them now. Letting sky control the pace and keep all their riders is playing into their hands.... This is not.

Maybe this was Sky's plan all along, just wait until other teams start getting worried about their GC place and ride tempo.

What the hell is Latour doing? He's wasted his energy on a pointless attack and now his team is on the front.

From Carols in the Nibali thread:

On NBCSN Voight said he spoke with BM DS who said that Nibali wasn't feeling all that well yesterday and they went to the front to control the pace and keep it even at a pace Nibali could recover at.

AG2R and Movistar are riding for placings. They don't believe in victory anymore
Or they sense weakness in Froome/Sky.

Then they should try to drop him and not ride a steady pace.

They probably need it to have been hard before an attack.

Not outrageous tactics.

that is BS. Nibali and the DS both said they felt weakness in Froome and wanted tot test him
