Good from Movistar, letting Sky take the lead instead of doing the work for them

Makes more sense now. They must have felt that Sky were dawdling on the climb, tried to keep the pace up and then got back off the front.

The **** Movistar ? You were riding the pace and what for? 20 seconds on Alpe?
I hope Quintana fall off the podium.

How much time does Kruijswijk need at the start of the climb? I think he needs at least 3 minutes.

Is it really surprising? Every time someone says “but what if they want to drop Froome“. They don't, they are riding for a podium. And because of that reason, they won't win the whole thing ever.

If he keeps this kind of pace 2 would be enough. But he will be fatigued

Safe to assume he is using a lot of energy. So yes - 3 minutes seems reasonable.

It says Kruijswik completed the climb in 1:09:21 (1hr 9mins 21sec). How does that compare to the past ascents?

According to twitter 1:07:53 set by Quintana and Valverde in 2015, that is the fastest time

So let them dwadle. Don't burn your domestiques to hold the gap to Kruijswijk. Kruijswijk is inconsequential to their hopes of winning the tour.

How did kwiat become a mountain doom domestique ?

He finished 11th in the 2013 tour at the age of 23!

The only reason he is riding as a domestique is the ridiculous money he is getting from Sky.

What a waste of a career
