Regardless of what happens in the back. Can we just appreciate Kruijswijk rode away 4 minutes from riders like Majka, Barguil and Nieve and even more from Valverde, Zakarin and others? WTF :')

A crash-away Grand Tour winner against nobodies ;)

I think Kruijswick will win and I certainly hope so. 4 minutes should do it before L'Alpe. He seems so strong.

I am very grateful for Kruijswik for making today's stage watchable.

Kruijswijk is going to win this with at least 2 minutes.

I agree, this won't even be close. I think it's more likely he takes the yellow jersey than that he loses the stage.

When the climb starts he had a solo of 60km of which the last 20km were flat....againt tue choo choo sky train. He can still die completely, wouldnt be the first rider to get destroyed in this valley.

People, do you realize how fast the gap comes down when the peleton gets interested? Andy had more than four and a half minutes before the Galibier and won by two minutes. And that was just Evans chasing.

Kruijswijk has been all alone without teammates. It's not going to be a big gap if he hangs on. Definitely not yellow.

Good example especially considering what a TT motor Andy had...

How did kwiat become a mountain doom domestique ?

He finished 11th in the 2013 tour at the age of 23!

The only reason he is riding as a domestique is the ridiculous money he is getting from Sky.
yet he is winning one day classics and monuments during the years...that's why he is getting "ridiculous money"

At least kruijswijk is human
unlike the alien in the giro
How is this more human? He rode away from names as Majka, Valverde, Zakarin with more than 4 minutes and kept a full riding Sky/Movistar at 6 minutes on the climb.
That he loses in the valley is normal, Froome do the same if there was a group
