Pauwels is 3rd in the king of the mountains competition on 63 points, 29 behind Alaphilippe. Barguil and Alaphilippe have both missed the move, chance for Pauwels to make some progress

Damn, I had hoped Valverde would be in the break. Sagan will be incredibly hard to beat today I think.

Parcours reminds me a little bit of the stage Thor won into Lourdes in 2011, with a single big climb in the second half, a long descent, and a flat finale into town, although with a harder first half.
