Even Kreuziger doing this can backfire both long and short term.
Di Gregorio, Grivko, Vaitkus, Fofonov, Davis, Vino (duh), Kessiakof (maybe if he finds the form).
Bennyl said:yes, Goss is the great hope at the moment! We'll see I guess, after Cavendish, theres probably no reason why he couldn't compete on a level with anyone else once he fully realises his potential.
The Hitch said:2006 2nd Lombardy 2nd FW.
2007 - 3rd in Vuelta, winning 3 stages. 3rd in Lombardy
2008 Gold.
2009 2nd Vuelta, 2nd Lombardy
2010 4th TDF (denied third by injury)
2011 3rd FW. (GP Mig)
Im not seeing this odd year pattern.
It is an odd year anyway

From a norwegian perspective, I hope Hushovd and EBH can show themselves in stage 1 (though probably not) and 5, as well as stage 3.johngoat said:It's mentioned several times: the first week is special for Gilbert. Leukemans will probably do the leadout for Gilbert.kjetilraknerud said:From a norwegian perspective, I hope Hushovd and EBH can show themselves in stage 1 (though probably not) and 5, as well as stage 3.
Vino, Evans, Sammy Sanchez, Kolobnev and Leukemans are other names to watch out for in tricky finishes - not to mention Voeckler if he can keep his spring form.
And that means we'll see him during the first week, right?theyoungest said:Leukemans will probably do the leadout for Gilbert.

btw, RIDE's TDF GUIDE will be out in about 10 days for Australians. Great TDF guide book.

I'm hoping that the poster in the magazine is a Cadel poster

Mishrak said:I like Cadel Evans' chances more than I usually do. I wouldn't mind seeing him win a Tour for a change. I'll be pulling for Andy though. I became a fan last year and that hasn't changed. The only reason I'd like Contador to win is because if he wins a Giro Tour double, he really has no choice but to ride the Vuelta and try for a triple. No one's ever done it, and I'm a big fan of watching history be made.
The real question is, though, how many stages will Mark Cavendish win and will he win a 3rd consecutive Champs Elysees stage?
Not surprised that Evans is on the cover as it's an Aussie mag, but odd that they chose to highlight A Schleck instead of Contador.auscyclefan94 said:You're becoming worse than me as a fanboy, Hitch!

Actually, I don't see anything about Contador on the cover at all?
El Pistolero said:Obvious answer. He'll win all flat stages that will end in a bunch sprint. Perhaps lose the first sprint stage like he usually does, but then start winning them all.
Michielveedeebee said:more or less this.
+ I'll yell for Cadel.
If he doesn't win Contador should (and probably will) and go for the triple
