I dont know if its mentioned here, but the Post Cup in Denmark had two winners today.

The race itself was one big mess too, as the peloton got off course and officials had to stop the race until the peloton was back on track.

And nothing else than the two winners. The race was neutralised, but then you shouldn't appoint winners either.
All the guys who were 2nd-20th in the "first sprint" and the "second sprint" get nothing for their hard work.

Indeed, it was an absolute farce, but hey it's the DCU so who can be surprised

Nice 2nd place for Team Chicken  Lars was riding for a national team, not THR.

Also a 1.1 in Spain today.

Reihs is for Rasmussen's team, right? That's got to be good for their hope to go to the Danmark Rundt. Last year that race was the Saxo parade so good to see a more open event. It's a bit like Tro Bro León.

In the GP Llodio, which is still going on, the day's break of Alejandro Marque (Onda) and José Iván Gutiérrez (Movistar) was caught with 25km to go and we now have a leading trio 20 seconds ahead of a chase group of about 12.

edit: Movistar tweet that they have at least 4 in the final selection, Javier Iriarte, Andrey Amador, Carlos Oyarzún and Imanol Erviti.

Good result for André Cardoso. Not only am I trusting him for my CQ team but I am expecting him to at least podium the Volta this year. Nice to see him perform in single day races. Also spot Nieve coming into some form there...

colombia is coming in with an incredible team featuring at least edward beltran(number 2 of last year), javier gomez pineda(youngest winner of vuelta juventud ever) and daniel jaramillo(one of biggest gt talents in antioquia and heavy favorite for this years vuelta juventud.

of course remainds to be seen how well they are in shape as vuelta juventud is in may which is one of biggest races in colombia but I expect for sure beltran to focus more on giro bio like betancourt did last year and let juventud go a bit as betancourt finished only 5th there

andre cardoso is an incredible climber (talent) I hope he has worked on his itt for this years volta, he wasn't too bad in it as u23 but last year he lost a lot of time in them.

Vuelta a La Rioja, 1.1, aka Logroño-Logroño. No longer a stage race (sadly) and also a bit less mountainous than last year's version - though with climbs closer to the finish to break things up.

Only 12 teams entered this year - 8 Spanish, 3 Portuguese, 1 Colombian.

198km and a tricky finish. Could be an interesting one. Last year's race was won by Ángel Vicioso of Andalucía-Caja Sur, who obviously isn't here this year as he now rides for Androni.

At the moment we are about the halfway point. Javier Iriarte (Movistar), Pablo Urtasun (Euskaltel), José Luís Cano (Andalucía-Caja Granada), Garikoitz Bravo (Caja Rural), Fredy Piamonte (UNE-EPM), Carlos Baltazar & Bruno Pinto (both Barbot-Efapel), Jon Pardo (Onda-Boavista) and Héctor González (KTM-Murcía) have 2'19" over the péloton, led by Geox-TMC who have missed the break.

edit: 50km to go, Iriarte, Baltazar and González all that remains of the original break, but Briton Tomas Metcalfe (Tavira-Prio) has joined them. The quartet have 1'26".

edit: break pulled back, new attack group. Enrique Sanz (Movistar), Aritz Etxebarría (Orbea) and Cristopher Jennings (Burgos Monumental). They have a minute.

edit: 12km to go, péloton together again.

2km to go... Juan pablo Suárez and Giovanny Báez (EPM-UNE) off the front with Imanol Erviti (Movistar)...

ERVITI WINS. 10th season win for Movistar.

Báez 2nd and Suárez 3rd... weird finish. According to the live ticker they never gained more than a handful of seconds in their attack, but it was decisive. Max of 24 seconds with 5km to go. Suárez initiated the attack then Erviti rode after him, Báez came to play monitor, so Suárez probably too tired.
