As far as I understand from the ticker, both Millar and Roux were dropped from the front group and then returned.

Yeah, that's what I got from it too, but it seems like Millar was caught by the peloton - but suddenly he was in front again, seeing the GC was close between him and Roux?

I dunno.

Ah, I didn't realise Roux did so well in the ITT, he was just a second behind Millar and Zabriskie so he takes a comfortable lead on bonification seconds.

Good of Henao to give the victory, hes really dominating the Latin American scene, and good crowds. Would have been nice to seem him cross the line with his arms in the air like his teammate though.

Those two latvian youngsters look promising. Skujins is still only 19 and already has some decent results here and there. The tw onorwegians also rode a nice ride. Especially Vegard Stake Laengen who attacked with around 25km to go and was alone in front for much of the finish before he was caught by Trentin and then the rest of top 7 on the last climb of the day.

It seems Latvia is on the rise in cycling. Saramotins, Smukulis and now these two.

There are two continental Latvian teams, are they both new? Alpha Baltic and LPM (who Skujins rides for). Both have several young Latvians.

Ya, it seems like all three baltic countries have something good going on at the moment. Latvia as mentioned and then we gave Estonia with Taaramae and Lithuania with Kroupis, Navadauskas, Konovalovas and Vaitkus.

estonia are indeed coming up but for latvia and lithuania nothing is new they've always been strong in u23 and then lack thereafter. I think they had 2 out of 3 on final podium of the european championships u23 some years ago and none of them made it.

1 Kalvis Eisaks (Latvia) 3.57.58
2 Tom Veelers (Netherlands)
3 Arturs Ansons (Latvia)
4 Alexandre Cabrera (France)
5 Nic Ingels (Belgium)
6 Juha-Matti Alaluusua (Finland)
7 Blazej Janiaczyk (Poland)
8 Andreas Dietziker (Switzerland)
9 André Greipel (Germany)
10 Hubert Schwab (Switzerland)

here it is. 2004
