Sérgio Sousa wins Fléche du Sud a.k.a. the only stage race won by Andy Schleck! That was quite unexpected, I never really understood why he went to ride abroad so late in his career but I'm happy he won :)

Some notable winners:
2013 Michael Valgren (DEN)
2012 Bob Jungels (LUX)
2006 Geraint Thomas (GBR)
2004 Andy Schleck (LUX)
2001 Bradley Wiggins (GBR)
1999 Kim Kirchen (LUX)
1990 Alex Zülle (SUI)
1984 Francis da Silva (POR)
1980 Acácio da Silva (POR)

Tour de Picardie Stage 1: Bouhanni ahead of de Busschere and Holst Enger. Sadly McLay finished 17th, presumably unable to swerve his way to the win.
Tour of Iran Stage 1: Connor McCutcheon (Team Illuminate) from a small group also containing Stefan Schumacher and closely followed by young Oleg Zemlyakov.
Grande Prémio Internacional Beiras e Serra da Estrela Stage 1: Prades ahead of Wackermann and Shilov.

Veloso lost nine minutes. And in ten weeks he will annihilate everybody once again. It's so ridiculous.

Tbf people here do know about paris roubaix, but only as the race where the train incident happened (and obviously that's train gate 2015, cycling didn't even exist back in 2006 ;) )

Dehaes in great form these days, maybe even better than he was at Lotto in his prime! Dupont really needs that pro contract now...

This is a surprisingly cosmopolitan Tour of Iran though, obviously Mirsamad and Rahim Emami are obliterating everybody in the mountains, but Conor McCutcheon and Stefan Schumacher showing well as well. Not the usual level of domination from the home teams.

Tabriz are making a habit of making the big gaps the day AFTER the big mountain though.
