Dimitri Claeys seemed to be the only one who knew what the finish was like today, starting his sprint way before everyone else and winning at the Tour De Wallonie. A bit disappointed by Demare, he should be winning these sprints

In yet another exciting day (seriously, why do I seem to be the only one watching this), Dries Devenyns won the stage at the Tour De Wallonie, in front of Jelle Vanendert who seemed euphoric with Dries' win. Dries also takes the general classification. My favorite rider Baptiste once again showed his versatility by winning the Mountains classification.

He has won the Tour of Belgium and the Tour Du Wallonie now, so all that's left is the Ronde Van Vlaanderen to win the whole of Belgium!

Great win there by Dries. Just held on for overall!

He's having a great season so far. His next goal is a Vuelta win he said, but I don't know if his capabilities are useful on the murito stages this year. What do you think?

Nice racing in Tour of Denmark right now. Tinkoff and Lotto NL have decimated the peloton in the echelons and on the narrow roads. Guardini is the only Astana rider in the selective front group

There should be stages won by breaks and he is allround enough to have a chance on most terrains with the exception of the highest mountains

Hardly think so. He didn't even make the split in the first place, and I'm not sure if he's made it back at all

Yes, good move from Würtz there. I think Benna will take it though. I hope he will

Yes, Schmidt is pretty fast, but probably can't do much against Bennati.

Does Devenym's have a team for 2017. It was a clinical move by Devenym on the last climb

He beat a lot guys on the standard that would get into break a ways. Might find one always stronger though I would back him for one

Wow great finish in Tour of Denmark today. Lars Boom attacks with 2.3 km to go, Michael Andersen catches him with 500 metres to go but is caught by Moreno Hofland who launches a very long sprint with Daniele Bennati on his wheel. However, in the last 50 metres Magnus Nielsen passes them both to take a very impressive win.

Magnus Cort with an absolute monster sprint in Denmark, he will have chances in the Vuelta. Insane how much he gained on Hofland and Bennati, Boom and Valgren close to escaping.

Incredible sprint from Cort there. It looks like he just closed down 20 meters in the last 150 meters. Lotto NL probably burned themselves out too early, leaving Hofland with the only option of starting his sprint a bit early. At that point I was certain, Benna was gonna win. But then came Cort and overtook both!

Plan is for Mezgec to be no 1 for the sprints in the Vuelta. I believe that Cort will try to take it as easy as you can in the Vuelta. OBE have plans for him in the Eneco tour. Of course plans can change.

For the flat sprints yes, Cort will likely get some freedom on the harder stages that are too easy to matter for the gc

Hit the nail on the head.
