It's one destined to go up there with the likes of Tro Bro Léon in the "your favourite small races" pantheon. And only serves to further clutter one of the greatest parts of the season, with Burgos, Portugal, Colombia and Pologne all going on cross-purposes to give you a wide variety of types of racing.

I have a hard time calling it a "small" race though. This is probably due to it being a TV race here in Belgium, even covered by RTBF and it being a part of the Napo Game Cup. Of course Quick Step pulled out of it as usual due to conflicting schedules with the damned Euro Championships (I hate that race) like they pulled out of the Cerami at the last moment for conflict schedule (Tour of France and altitude training) but last year they were present and Lotto-Soudal was present with a reduced team.

In my opinion this race is above Tro Bro Léon, Schaal Sels or Slag om Norg, even if I have a soft spot for the latter one which I've followed since creation in 2012 as a small national race. :)

Unfortunately the Kreders split up.
Yes, I know it's only Raymond and Michel who're brothers, but Wesley is part of the family too. :p

(Still need to figure out how Dennis and Sander fit into the equation.

and we're going wildly off-topic here.)

Not bad for Madouas' first (?) race as a neopro! FDJ has brought quite the team to Ain
