They watched the WC RR for Juniors and knew Evenepoel wasn't riding today.Lequack said:Good tactics by FDJ crashing Lopez.

Valverde's strategy was perfectly logical based on the fact that Valverde is Valverde and Milan Torino isn't a WT raceRollthedice said:Pinot and Italy a true love story. Maybe somebody can clarify Valverde's strategy for today and that crashing uphill was entertaining.

No, but if your opponent crashes into your teammate (mistake of both) you don't have to attack directly as well. This forum would have gone nuts if Moscon made this move.Climbing said:Bardamu said:Not a fan of this move by Pinot, but he looks strong and probably would have won anyway.
So what exactly? Should have stopped?
Unbelievable...

Valverde was already dropped (thats why Lopez was looking back I guess), so Pinot was alone, so he didnt attack anyone
What surprised me was that Egan was already much than better Moscon, despite only riding in his third race in more than two months.Dekker_Tifosi said:btw about Gaudu, good to see him finally step up again.. it doesn't show in the result, but he was better than Bernal today for the first time since ages
(yes i know Bernal just came back from injury, but still)
