Binche Chimay Binche aka the FDB memorial. Scary reduced sprint on wet cobbles. Van Asbroek (ICA) takes it by a spoke nipple over Naesen. Looked like an uncomfortable day out in the rain.

That makes more sense, thank you.
JV had Bennett in that group, at one point he was pulling while the rest of the team was pulling the main bunch for Roglic.
Fuglsang and Latour kinda blew it by not going with Roglic, they were right there when he went. Yes, he's probably faster than those guys, but following that attack durning the final km was the only chance they had at that point.

66 race days. Came into the Giro too hot and paid the price. Had a huge break after the Giro.
He and his team managed the racing and rest very well. He didn't race at all between the Giro and the Vuelta except for an appearance in the NC in late June. He basically was without racing for three months and he also had more than a month between T-A and Romandie.

That was a laughable race. First they lead the potential winning group astray and then they to sabotage Luis Le.

Is the Slovenian swiss-army-knife also racing' in Milano Torino tomorrow?

Ok,on the final circuit of the race they did the same descent twice in one lap, one time they had to turn right at that roundabout, the other time left, not sure about the exact order.
Who in the hell thinks that something like that is a good idea, it's confusing and the chance of someone messing up is way higher.

What the *** was Fuglsang doing in the end lol. Rode the perfect finale just following wheels and then with 800 metres to go he just stares at Roglic riding away and doesnt even try to go with him

Yeah, I know, that didn't make any sense at all. And then he tries to go 300 metres too late...

Well the organizers frakked that race up. To get to almost the end in a breakaway stocked with elite talent, and to be led the wrong way, taking them all out of contention... I just hope no one blames the riders.

There was absolutely nothing showing the route made a turn there, so obviously they just follow the motorcycle.

Ridiculous course setup.

That having been said, Fomolos group was clearly motorpacing, so serves them right :)
Isn't it the responsibility of the moto to stay a distance from the group so that motopacing isn't possible?

Funny enough, Leclercq immediately figured out that that might have caused the confusion!

I don't know where else to post this. The 2020 Tour Colombia route has been announced. This is more important than the Tour de France route because the winner will determine the next Tour de France winner :D.

Forget about having European teams!!!
This is insane. Unless the Europeans show up with oxygen bottles they will die in the mountains. Last stage to arrive at 3200 m. Most stages will be ridden between 2500 m - 3000 m

That's pretty high, but not as highas the Tour of Qinghai Lake. This year, it featured an entire stage above 3000 m with the highest pass being 3827 m. And the race was only won by a Colombian due to the TTT ;)

First,

that's racist.

Second, what mountains? Looks like a bunch of 200 meter climbs except for the last day.

Yep, pretty weak parcours with a misleading y-axis and one MTF on the last day (on the easier side of the Paramó del Verjón). Still, it's a February race, anybody expecting Letras, La Linea, Vino, Minas, Loma del Escobero or their like was always going to be disappointed; however when you're finishing a stage with circuits around Duitama, is El Cogollo too much to ask? I'd have liked El Tobogán in Zipaquirá too, possibly finishing descending back into town or possibly a HTF. Don't tell me placing this 5km or less from the line wouldn't make for an interesting finale in an otherwise flat stage.

CRI -> Duitama circuit -> sprint stage -> Santa Rosa de Viterbo with a gradual ascent then a flat final 4km -> stage with El Tobogán near the finish -> MTF.
