Denz would probably be nominally slower than both, so if it was a sprint, well done. And if it wasn't, still well done.

Ulissi wins stage 4 in Luxenbourg and extends his lead.
Group of 4 with Wellens, Aime De Gendt and Markus Hoelgaard formed on the last hill and stayed away. Very entertaining race in the last 50+ km.

Krieger is such a frustrating rider. He is so good and strong in all sorts of sprints and hills but he just can't win for his life. There are always riders better and more specialized. But good to see him finally riding strong on ProConti level. Well deserved after all his years on Conti level.

I counted 121 top ten results for him in UCI races in his career so far - without ever winning a single race. That's both impressive and sad.

Meanwhile, on the more fun side of things - except for the guy in question, I guess... - Buitrago just manages to do the classical "celebrate too early" thing.

And Kron takes the win. Ulissi takes second, and defend the jersey.

Ethan Hayter wins Giro dell'Appennino in front of Covi and Robert Stannard. It was a sprint from a reduced group.
